We were very lucky to get to stay here before the Covid-19 pandemic made us all stay home, and what a wonderful way to travel! We loved the beautiful lobby, view, gorgeous spacious bedroom, and wonderful amenities. Would happily go back anytime! Hope to come back in a year and enjoy more of the town.

Understand property is under new ownership. We have been coming for over 10 years. We don't want things to change. It is uniquely special and should stay that way. We love the readings at Halloween. Have made that a regular visit for years. You have a winner. Hope it stays just the way it is.

We've stayed at Cannery Pier several times! Each experience is excellent. Besides one of the best views on the coast, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Love the tub, the fireplace, the small settee to watch TV or the mighty Columbia. The breakfast and social hour is terrific. Cannery Pier offers a chauffeur service in one of their vintage cars. Spence, the chauffeur is terrific and very knowledgeable. We use the service to take us to restaurants and pick us up. SO NICE. The evening cookies are wonderful. All of the staff are wonderful and professional. A wonderful place to stay.

We always love to welcome familiar faces back through our doors, Rebecca. The experience at the CPH is unique... and exceptional. I recommend the hotel to all of our friends. The atmosphere the views the people all work together to make the experience very special. Lounging in the lobby is even wonderful because of the views and staff. Everyone should try to stay here at least once.

If you happen to find yourself in Astoria, OR, you would do yourself a favor by lodging at the Cannery Pier Hotel. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the rooms are beautiful and cozy. To my knowledge every room has a balcony over the water. Peaceful is how I'd describe the view of the water, the beautiful Astoria-Megler Bridge, ships moving silently past as as I had my coffee warming by my in-room fire place... The bed was soooo comfy... the colors in the room were warm and welcoming. A lot of natural light came in through the abundant windows (which have light-blocking shades if you want them), and there was a claw foot bathtub also open to the view. Warm, soft bathrobes were hanging by the tub, and original artwork (and prints and giclees) from local artist Sarah Goodnough graced the walls of the guestroom and the common spaces. The walls in the hallways provided a pictorial history of Astoria and the fish cannery which is now the hotel. Every afternoon the staff served up local wines with cheese, crackers and smoked salmon which, if you chose to, you could enjoy on the couch by the fire in the lobby. I highly recommend the Cannery Pier! The hotel has a vintage car driven by Spencer, who will drop you off and pick you up in town if you want to get out for the evening and not drive. And as a bonus, he will provide you with I'll be honest - it was hard to leave!
