We were in room 311 which gave us fabulous views. Although we got out and explored, it was equally nice to just sit and enjoy the views, the boats, the tidal variations and bird activity. Everyone was friendly and we would absolutely recommend this spot. Love the history as well.
Perfect spot to celebrate our wedding anniversary/ new renovations made a lovely spot just stunning Loved our room and river views. The hot tub made a perfect end to the day. The social hour in the beautiful new lounge allowed us to meet other guests
This hotel was so much fun to watch the ships come in. The car service was also very fun and both drivers were very knowledgeable about the area and even changed our restaurant picks both times and it was worth it.
We had such a wonderful stay at the Cannery Pier Hotel and a perfect weekend in Astoria. Everything about our stay was pure magic: the hotel, the staff, the restaurant (Fedé - try it, you won’t be disappointed!), the town and the perfect, sunny weather despite the Snowpocalypse.
Built on an old cannery pier, the rooms are right on the river. Great views of shipping and wildlife from our room. Recently remodeled room was clean and comfortable, accessible outlets for phones/computers. Small plates and drinks in the compact lobby bar were appreciated when not venturing out to eat. Courtesy cars - an old Rambler and a Rolls - are a cool touch when we did. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, had an excellent facial in the spa. Overall great experience.
So clean and up to date. The claw foot bathtub is such a relaxing feature. The small details in the room made the difference (wet bar, ambience lightning, sofa blanket, binoculars...) We will be back soon.
This hotel is beautifully appointed and offers a nightly wine social hour, beautiful rooms with great views of the Megler Bridge and the water. There is a spa with whirlpool, a fitness room and a lovely restaurant within walking distance. Highly recommend!
Was much friendlier and comfortable prior to remodel. Several items fell short of expectations. Rooms and view are excellent but some of the things you take for granted were not available. For the price paid we were disappointed.
Enjoyed a great two night stay in February. The hotels new look and services are working well. We especially enjoyed the hotel staff, they were professional, responsive and extremely courteous". An evening drive to and from dinner in the Rolls was really fun.
This is an ideal hotel right on the water in Astoria. However, I cannot recommend it to everyone. This sounds like a simple problem, but for someone with severe allergies, it prevents you from getting a good nights sleep. They do not have alternatives to feather pillows. So either bring your own, or plan on a night of coughing!
