Enjoy your stay in Astoria!
Good sized and clean room at a good price. The only problem is that it is right on the main road and you get a lot of road noise. Location is good for Astoria. Good place for a short stay. Otherwise all good.
People don’t expect much from motels. Especially motels that are as old as this one. The outside may be old, but the rooms have been completely renovated. Check in was super fast and easy. I stayed in Room 110. It was a single queen room on the first floor. I loved being able to park right next to my room. The room was extremely clean (and smelled clean too!). The bed and pillows were very comfortable-and after 7 hours in the car that’s exactly what I needed. I loved that they had soap dispensers instead of all those tiny bottles most hotels have that end up in a landfill. The water pressure was wonderful and the water was hot-the towels were a good thickness and plenty big enough. Nice that the room had a fridge and even a microwave (and coffee machine). The TV was huge and had good sound and picture quality. The WiFi was great-honestly the best WiFi I have had at any motel or hotel-which says a lot because I travel quite a bit. It was super close to many of Astoria’s popular spots like the bridge, boardwalk, and the column. The only downside is the proximity to the busy road and paper thin walls and ceiling, obviously not something the motel can control. However, I used simple ear plugs and got a very restful night of sleep. You can’t beat the price and the closeness to different attractions. Alyssa at the front desk was super friendly at my time of checkout. We had a nice chat and she talked about the area since I had never been to Astoria before. A friendly face also makes a big difference in the overall experience. Kudos to Alyssa! I would stay here again. …
Travelled from BC down to see the Oregon Coast. Began our journey in Astoria, stayed here for the night. Check in was easy, the lady at the desk was super nice. Room was clean. Bathroom was clean. Fridge, microwave, TV all worked and were clean. Would recommend this place for anyone travelling through
Although the motel is on the highway, we didn't notice the traffic noise. Checking in and out was quick and easy.Room was clean and shower was hot. Walking distance up to great pubs and restaurants. Easy access to Astoria Column.
This was our second stay (I forgot to review last years stay) but we were just as pleased as before. It’s your regular motel, but very clean and comfortable. The room had a microwave, fridge, coffee machine and cable TV. Check in was easy, a great room for a cheap price. Reception staff even allowed us to leave our car in the car park after check out before leaving Astoria a few hours later which was really helpful for us.
