When you wish you had stayed longer, you know you've selected a good accommodation. We arrived late in the day and left first thing in the morning. Sad. Great place to linger...something to keep in mind. The location was great, right at the water's edge with a beautiful view outside sweeping windows. The price was higher than our other 11...

Near zero temperatures made our cozy room even more welcome. Be sure to ask for a river view. Ours looked out under the awesome Astoria-Megler Bridge that fords the mighty Columbia River connecting Oregon and Washington State. The in-room jacuzzi was a bonus as was the roaring fireplace. Breakfast in the morning comprised an assortment of cereals, omelets and fruit,...

This place has everything I want in a hotel. It's in the middle of town, easy to get to, has a great view, a fireplace, a sofa, and a comfortable bed. What more do you need? I will personally always ask to stay in the back of the hotel. Our room was right under the bridge, and we could hear...

The hotel is new and clean. Staff is friendly. We stayed in room 408 which overlooked the Columbia River and the Astoria Bridge was literally right outside the window. Beds were comfortable and I thought the room was quiet although my husband said he could hear the waves. The room also came with a gas fireplace. Internet service was excellent....

Nice room, fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, Good breakfast and good service too! Parking is limited for large vehicles but some street parking is available if you arrive early. Got in late so purchased a frozen meal to eat in my room and it was good and fairly priced.

the hotel is in a great location - literally under the bridge. Our room was very near the centre of the hotel so we had a great view looking up at the bridge. We were a bit concerned that opposite our room was the gaming room (electronic games) but luckily no one was playing the machines. The room was comfortable....

Dear Onlynamefree, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I am delighted to hear that you found our accommodations friendly and comfortable. It is always motivating on our end whenever our valued guests acknowledges the hard work of our staff. On the other hand, it is disheartening that your breakfast experience was less than...

Don't get stuck in room 216 unless you like listening to shrieking voices from the pool. "Marco" "Polo" ugh. And all the endless screaming. This was off season even. It must be really bad when the hotel is busy. Front desk called to ask if room was okay and I told them about the noise but their only response was...

We were greeted by Sophie and Mike and they instantly set the tone for a wonderful stay. Their suggestions on dining and touring the area were spot on. Lobby is beautiful. Waterfront view is spectacular. Room is ginormous. Breakfast selection was vast and seating plentiful. Treat yourself to a stay at one the finest properties you will ever experience.

A lovely HI Express, a bit pricey (~$150) but the room was larger than expected and the bathroom was BEAUTIFUL . It had a granite counter INSIDE the bathroom and it was a LARGE room, not the usual closet with the sink OUTSIDE the bathroom. The lobby area is VERY nice. They have bikes (cruisers...free!) available for you to ride...

It all started with the front desk staff. The two ladies were very friendly and helpful creating a positive experience within the first few seconds. The room facing the Columbia river is by far the largest hotel room I have ever had. It was very clean and very quiet. For the price this hotel was great. Previously I have stayed...
