We like old hotels that have been refurbished and this one gets an A - bedroom - suite on 4th floor with great view of river room 401- had comfortable bed, good bathroom with heated floor and bathrobes - just here one night but could have lingered. Breakfast was fine with good coffee Wine bar not open when we were... More

Our trek through Oregon included two days in Astoria. One of those days was my birthday. What a great place to celebrate. Upon checking in we discovered that our room had a great, great view. We were on the 4th floor on the corner facing the Columbia River. The view was magnificent including watching the constant traffic of barges down... More

My husband and I just spent a night in Astoria, having never explored this historic city before. Friends recommended the Hotel Elliott which is located downtown within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The style and decor is authentic to the period and feels like you have stepped back in time. We chose a room with a King bed--the hotel... More

Stayed 3 nights and couldn't have had a better experience. We booked a corner king suite... I HIGHLY recommend! Although we didn't have a river view, we were on the 4th floor and we had cozy views of the town's comings and goings from all of our windows, plus we could admire the forested hills and Victorian houses on the... We were warmly welcomed by Stephen as we entered the lovely lobby and made to feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms were lovely and very clean. We stopped by the wine bar in the evening and were able to take our drinks upstairs to the rooftop lounge to enjoy the nighttime views of the city. We will definitely go... More

A boutique hotel with interesting room arrangements; a central spot in downtown Astoria with tons of nearby eateries and activities; an amazing roof deck; and if you get a room facing the large parking lot in the back - perfect place for a bird's eye view of the Sunday market.

The Hotel is charming, staff are courteous, location and views are wonderful but someone in housekeeping neglected to change the bedding. A helpful young man rushed up to the room immediately to bring fresh linens. Breakfast was lovely on Canada Day morning, July 1. We are not fussy and we stay in a lot of hotels on travel. When we... The Hotel Elliott is a beautiful hotel, historical so if you are looking for modern, state of the art, this is not for you. The hotel is in great condition and the room was quite comfortable. Air Conditioning is provided, which was important on the date that we visited. Walking distance of the shops and the water with plenty of... More

The hotel is beautifully restored. I felt like I walked into another Era. The rooms were cozy. The bathroom has heated floors. I want this at home! Overall loved the decor in the room. Very classic. Great views. The rooftop deck is what differentiates this hotel from others. The deck has amazing views of the water and city. It is... More

Perfect historically preserved hotel for the area. Great location, amazing rooms, and panoramic views (rooftop and some rooms). Had the most memorable cup of coffee ever on the rooftop, overlooking the Columbia River/Pacific. I did my homework on Astoria and this is really the place to be. Many of the other hotels are unkempt or too new/modern and strangely out... More
