I stayed in this hotel for primarily one reason: walking distance to good beer. This place abuts Fort George Brewing, and is walkable to Buoy and Wet Dog. Check that box. I stayed here knowing full well that there is no bathroom in the room. That was/is a big drawback. When I was going to sleep at night, I was... More

We stayed here as part of a longer road trip around Oregon and this was our favourite hotel on the route! We had a private room at around $90, with a shared bathroom. The room itself was spacious, with a sink, small TV, table and chairs, closet, towels, and lovely dressing gowns. They had put a lot of care into... More

The room was spartan but sparkling. Beautiful wood floors (a little creaky) but so clean. Great location right downtown. Walk to everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved this hotel and Astoria too.

This was perfect for an overnight stop on a recent road trip round Oregon. The hotel is stylish, warm and welcoming, with a small lobby and a nice open fire. The rooms are spacious, if a little spartan; the situation is ideal and the bed was comfortable. Street parking is possible, but if you will be staying for more than... More

This is a perfect location, very clean rooms, charming atmosphere. Gives a different feel from the typical hotel rooms. There are plenty of charming stores and places to eat within a very short walking distance.

The Norblad is a hostel for people who normally don't like to stay in hostels. It's has a funky vibe, but is very clean with a friendly staff. Be sure to check out their collection of classic vinyl albums, one of which is sure to be playing at all times. They have four-bunk rooms and singles for individuals or couples... More

We stayed here as a family and enjoyed it. The staff was super friendly and helpful - though it was a little disappointing that the laundry facilities weren't working when we were there. Nice location - we went on walks (with our dog) all around the neighborhood and enjoyed several nearby eateries based on recommendations from the staff.

We stayed here on a rainy night in Astoria. The location is excellent, right downtown near pubs and shopping. Most rooms do not have private baths; there are clean, shared bathrooms nearby. We got one of the two rooms with private baths. The entire hotel, 100 years old, has been completely renovated and modernized while retaining some of its original... More

Not for every one but great low cost place to stay. Offers bunk room style hostel beds and clean simple private rooms with shared rest rooms and showers. Super clean, very tasteful and comfortable. Noise from the entry and hall ways might bother you if you are a light sleeper but the place quieted down early and did not bother... More

The room is outfitted very basically, showers and bathrooms are in the hallway, so it's a shared kind of deal, at least, that's how it was for us. The rooms look very tidy, and the feel is very minimal, but homey, as far as that is possible. They have bathrobes in the rooms so you can easily get around the... More
