The room was clean & quiet. One of the best Econo Lodges I've ever stayed at. The manager was friendly and very helpful. I travel a lot for work, and usually stay in high-end hotels, but used hotwire to book this time. So glad I did. Only 20 min from Jax beach. I highly recommend...can't beat the price for this area.

I stayed June 25, 2020. Not in the most desirable neighborhood but not too bad. When I arrived, the clerk told me: No breakfast, although they advertise one. It was a non-smoking room and it did not smell of smoke, like some do. Lots of smoking outside though. The room was clean. However, I had trouble with the lights next to the bed. I searched for the outlet, and found the wired jammed between the wall and the mattress. The wire was bent in an unsafe manner that I believe may be a fire hazard. (see photo). The air conditioner worked. The bathroom was clean. The TV was okay, but the guide they provide frequently did not match what was available. I did not see any illegal activity going on and did not feel unsafe. It wasn't loud on a Thursday night and slept okay.

ACFlorida, Thank you so much for taking the time to write this thorough and insightful review. We appreciate that you've taken the time to share the ways that we have impressed you and the ways that we can improve. Unfortunately, despite our efforts to ensure that nobody smokes in non-smoking rooms, it does occasionally happen and I hope you’ll accept our sincerest apologies for the smell of smoke that you experienced. We are also forever working to improve upon the guest experience and I hope you will remember our attributes and return to see how we have improved to impress you even more.

I called and did a reservation. We were very tired and wanted to stop for a quick sleep because we had drove more than 10hours without stopping. In the phone they said they have a room for a spesific price. We were glad and came to this bad ”hotel”. In the reception they said they do not have that room what we reserved anymore even though it was just an hour of our call when they promised us the room!! They offered a similar room but charged more than the reservation price was!! In the reception they just said ”i understand but i can’t help” . Do not ever come here. Bad customer service and rooms are not as described.

Johtaja12345678, Thank you for sharing your experience, and I am so sorry to learn that we failed to meet your expectations of quality service and accommodations. The standard procedure in such cases is to confer with management regarding what can be done to resolve the error, as our staff is not authorized to make decisions which conflict with policy. I hope you will forgive this error and the service that did not meet your expectations and that you will someday return to see how we have grown through guest feedback.

I read Jake1401's review of his stay at Econo Lodge. I also had the exact same thing happen to me when I stayed at this hotel. The female manager got into a screaming match with me because like another customer mentioned they allow trucks to park in the parking lot. The night I stayed (Sept 14) there were 6 or 7 18 wheeler trucks parked in the parking lots. They let the engines run, and I could feel the vibrations in my room. The Indian woman is nasty, and lies. She went into a blind rage when I told her the truth. I too was going to call the police department on her. I ended up calling their corporate office and demanded a refund. Her anger was so bad that I had chest pains all night, and had to pray to God, that I didn't have a heart attack. The Indian woman is seriously evil. She uses tricks to deny any wrong doing. She does not respect her guests at her hotel, and has no empathy for people. She is bad news. Don't trust this woman. Beware of her. She is serious trouble.

Walked in and the staff was having a screaming match with a customer , and the cops were called .. Then when the cops were leaving they told my wife under NO circumstances would they recommend we stay there it was a drug and prostitute ridden motel and they were there 4-5 times a night .. And we tried and call Choice Hotels to cancel and they didn't care whatsoever about our safety or concerns was on the phone for over 2 hours and nothing !! were fighting with the credit card company now ! I understand it was a cheap motel but your safety should never be a concern !!!!
