I enjoy just getting away sometimes and I really appreciate the Hilton hotel chain, I feel really at home here. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a hot breakfast; just like home. I feel good about staying here.
Stayed here for one night before catching a flight out of Jacksonville International Airport. Another fine Hilton Brand hotel. Clean rooms and convenient location to the airport. A huge shout out to the staff who despite being understaffed due to the employment fallout from the pandemic, did an exceptional job. Our front desk clerk was very helpful and was able to get some utensils late at night when the restaurant we ordered from fail to provide. Saw her interacting with other customers and she was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place. Lives up to the high ranking on TripAdvisor
Good prices. Friendly staff. Great room complete with microwave, fridge, extra towels and toiletries. Fluffy pillows. Mattress not as comfortable as it could have been but good nevertheless. Able to adjust the thermostat according to preferred temperature. Even better location. Close to airport with good restaurants (Zaxby, Ruby Tuesday, Longhorn Steak House) within short walking distance. Free shuttle.
The room was hot. Felt stuffy even though I had the air on 70. The beds were very uncomfortable and the water in the shower only got lukewarm. The pool was closed and I wasn’t notified of that until I got there that night to check in. When I called to verify my reservation that should have been stated. The only thing I enjoyed about my stay was the breakfast, my floor was quiet and it was close to a lot of restaurants and shopping.
I have stayed at Hampton Inns and other Hilton Brand Hotels for years and this was the first time that I can recall being disappointed in a stay. The bathroom walls had mold on them as well as in the shower. The chair provided in the room was dirty. This was truly a disappointing stay for me.
