We love staying at Pecan Park , amazing for the kids and family, love the pool/amenities. Management always have something going to make your stay more fun. We were walking distance to indoor flea market, also 5 min drive to Walmart and a shopping center. Yes there is airplane passing through but you hear non while inside the RV and when out side with the music can't hear them, not a big deal so it is worth it. More than fare pricing, People was so friendly, kids and parents fishing. We will definitely go again.
We have been here before a few year’s ago and liked the park then. However, this time here we were blown away by the upgrades and improvements done to this park. Just the entrance upgrade is beautiful. Staff were wonderful at check in, very welcoming and professional. Great large slab sites some with fire pits, most pull throughs. Sites around the outer edge are back-ins, of course, but also roomy. All sites are nicely spaced. Park is level, which is a benefit to us, since we try to ride our bikes every day. Rest rooms and laundry, very clean. WiFi is Tengo, it worked. The cable was wonderful, lots of channels. Sites are all big rig friendly. Now owned by Sun communities. We will definitely be back.
I just love this RV park. We were here for 6 weeks and the grounds were always clean and manicured. The crews qre always working to keep things up. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful. The RV park offers activities and have ice cream served on Sundays for $1 as well as weekend breakfast. Several days a week different food trucks set up. It saves from having to cook or go out of the grounds to eat. It a convenient location just off the interstate and only a little over 2 miles to a lot of shopping. I would differently come and stay at this great park again!
I have been staying at this park since April. This park is very clean and the staff go out of their way to help you. This is an exceptional park. I have nothing but good things to say about this park. Keep up the great job and thank you for the outstanding service.
This RV resort has nice big spots, well maintained facility. If you are looking to meet other RVers and make new friends this is not the place. It’s right under the flight path for the Airport so planes fly over all day , I didn’t find it to be a problem. We picked it due to the proximity to the airport due to a friend visiting, very convenient. The things that I didn’t care for was the spotty or non working internet , and we were close to the main office so it should have been good. The Clubhouse, both of them were locked , I was told you had to get permission to use them . On Saturday the clubhouse by the office was rented for a child’s birthday party. We were enjoying the pool and then the party so we left due to the screaming kids, splashing, pool toys adults throwing kids in. Ect. So we went to the back pool that is where most of the long term guest are , if you don’t have a golf cart you need to drive it’s a long walk. We get back there and there is a gate code to get in, we tried it and still couldn’t get in. So the pool was a bust , the party was at least 4-5 hrs long before guest started leaving. The traffic up and down the roads inside the park is all day and night and quite a bit , trucks speeding, there are rules but no one really to enforce it. I didn’t complain to the staff we were only there 4 nights didn’t seem worth it, wont be back. Sun properties owns this RV resort and Flamingo lake as well . More a family type resort , kids can ride bikes , 30 minutes from the beaches, close to airport. Some scheduled activities.…
We have stayed a couple of times as overnight stopover on our way to Southern Florida. Even though near the airport, didn't really notice the airplanes. Extremely easy on and off 95. Our site was very clean, very new with a nice picnic table. Campground was full but quiet which was important to us since we were just there to sleepover.
We stayed February 19, through the 28, 2022. Great concrete, level site. Lots of activities. We attended the Waffle breakfast, my wife attended the Herb Growing activities. They had something just about every day, be it a food truck, various give aways. A great place to stay and we will return !
This was our second stay here this year. This was a 2 week stay and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Park is clean and well maintained with nice landscaping, paved roads with concrete pads that are level and roomy. This time we stayed in the back area which is closer to the interstate. You can hear some road noise but to us it was not an issue. You are under the airport approach and take off lines for civilian and military flights but they were not a major issue either. Staff was excellent and the folks in the park were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with reservations where they charged us for a locked in specific spot but "the computer" gave it away. They really could offer no better explanation but they refunded my lock in fee and one night's stay as compensation. No issues other than that. Will definitely stay again.…
Large park of 183 sites with about 2/3 pull through. Nice spacing between sites. Paved roads, cement pads, level, cable strong, internet ok (non-secure), nice grass and some landscaping. Many long-term residents. Clean, neat, quiet. No trash pickup. Nice pool and pool area. Civilian and military air traffic right overhead. We did not find this to be an issue. $93 per night (with a lock fee) is very expensive. The sewer hookups are very low (below grade) and it makes it hard/impossible to attach your connectors or elbows. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.
