Super friendly stuff and a well kept campground. We wanted to move nearer to friends and they accommodated us immediately. We got refunded for the difference without asking. The campground sits near an airport and a highway. It is not quiet. But there are some areas where the noise is manageable. We were standing in the third row after moving and it was ok! The airplanes do not fly through the night. The location is great to explore the city and the area.

Hi Gabriela, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're delighted that our friendly resort team handled your site change request quickly and professionally. We know the airplanes are very noticeable at first, but as you mentioned, they do not fly at night. And since there are so many other wonderful sights, sounds, and activities to catch your interest, we find that it becomes easier to ignore the planes and focus on the fun you're having. Have a wonderful day!

This was our second stay here this year. This was a 2 week stay and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Park is clean and well maintained with nice landscaping, paved roads with concrete pads that are level and roomy. This time we stayed in the back area which is closer to the interstate. You can hear some road noise but to us it was not an issue. You are under the airport approach and take off lines for civilian and military flights but they were not a major issue either. Staff was excellent and the folks in the park were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with reservations where they charged us for a locked in specific spot but "the computer" gave it away. They really could offer no better explanation but they refunded my lock in fee and one night's stay as compensation. No issues other than that. Will definitely stay again.

This RV resort has nice big spots, well maintained facility. If you are looking to meet other RVers and make new friends this is not the place. It’s right under the flight path for the Airport so planes fly over all day , I didn’t find it to be a problem. We picked it due to the proximity to the airport due to a friend visiting, very convenient. The things that I didn’t care for was the spotty or non working internet , and we were close to the main office so it should have been good. The Clubhouse, both of them were locked , I was told you had to get permission to use them . On Saturday the clubhouse by the office was rented for a child’s birthday party. We were enjoying the pool and then the party so we left due to the screaming kids, splashing, pool toys adults throwing kids in. Ect. So we went to the back pool that is where most of the long term guest are , if you don’t have a golf cart you need to drive it’s a long walk. We get back there and there is a gate code to get in, we tried it and still couldn’t get in. So the pool was a bust , the party was at least 4-5 hrs long before guest started leaving. The traffic up and down the roads inside the park is all day and night and quite a bit , trucks speeding, there are rules but no one really to enforce it. I didn’t complain to the staff we were only there 4 nights didn’t seem worth it, wont be back. Sun properties owns this RV resort and Flamingo lake as well . More a family type resort , kids can ride bikes , 30 minutes from the beaches, close to airport. Some scheduled activities.

Been here quite a while on a prolonged work assignment. Probably going to look elsewhere. Too expensive and too many issues. Nothing major, but irritating nonetheless.
1. Aircraft fly directly overhead. Not too bad during COVID because air traffic is slow, but lots of aircraft during normal periods, including National Guard fighters which kick in afterburners directly overhead....fun for awhile, but gets old.
2. Laundry is clean for the most part, but nobody cleans the machines. Dog hair always left behind in the washers, and machines are fairly expensive. Minimum of $2 for small load to wash and the same for the dryer. Plus there are only 5 washers and 5 dryers for the entire park, which is huge. So during busy hours forget about it.
3. No drinks of any kind allowed in pool area. Supposedly. I've seen large groups of people with coolers of beer i(n bottles) hanging out all day with nothing said. But just today, I was relaxing by the pool, just me and one other person, I had a small cooler with 3 cans of beer. I was there for about 30 minutes when one of the employees pulled up on his golf cart and walked directly up to me and told me no beverages allowed in pool area. I can understand no bottles, or no beer actually in the pool, but sitting in a lounge chair with an aluminum can....give me a break.
4. Lawn guys come by every Monday morning around 0630. So don't plan on sleeping. They are there all day. They pay no attention to grass or mud thrown up against your car or motorhome.
5. The park is located directly next to a flea market and interstate, so it can get fairly noisy. Not too bad in the older part of the park, but the new section is right on the interstate, so I imaging the noise would be considerable.
6. Fairly expensive as far as RV parks go. Almost $900 a month for long term.

Large park of 183 sites with about 2/3 pull through. Nice spacing between sites. Paved roads, cement pads, level, cable strong, internet ok (non-secure), nice grass and some landscaping. Many long-term residents. Clean, neat, quiet. No trash pickup. Nice pool and pool area. Civilian and military air traffic right overhead. We did not find this to be an issue.
$93 per night (with a lock fee) is very expensive. The sewer hookups are very low (below grade) and it makes it hard/impossible to attach your connectors or elbows. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Motorhome.

First off Kim and her staff are top notch. Being military they were always working with me for the best rates possible, and worked around my crazy schedule. They are super friendly and the camp grounds are kept super nice and clean. They really have gone out of their way to ensure my stay has been nothing but satisfying. The property is having tons of great things added like a gym, hot tub and back in spots with fire pits. Currently in a new back in spot, super spacious and plenty of room for my dogs to run on their dog run. Super close to River city area which has every restaurant and shop you can think of. 20-25 min to beautiful Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach, 15 min to downtown Jax, and 45 min to
Jax Beaches. Located 1/2 a mile from 95, so easy access. Enjoy the flea market next door on weekends. If ya want a great place to stay with a family friendly atmosphere I highly suggest Pecan Park.

We are a family of 5 with young kids staying at this park. We’ve been here almost 2 months and we’ve had a great experience so far. The air and plane traffic really hasn’t bothered us much at all. We enjoy the awesome kids playground almost every day. Only thing it’s missing is some swings for the kids! The hot tub and pool are very nice and never seem overly crowded. There’s a 16 personal limit right now due to covid and there’s never been that many people there when we’ve tried to go swimming. Location is very convenient and staff seem very helpful. We recently had our propane tanks filled. We left it on the end of the driveway and called and they picked it up, filled, and brought them back. Laundry room is clean and driers work great, which is an issue we’ve had at other parks. Even tho we would love a little better scenery, the paved streets are super nice for the kids to ride their bikes and to go on stroller rides. The dumpsters are a bit far and the big curve of the street makes me a little nervous walking with little kids, but cars are generally cautious and drive slowly through the park.

RV Park is in flight path for JAX Airport...noise is manageable as flights are not that frequent. However, you can tell the difference in the commercial flights & UPS & FedEx flights. Check in was easy & staff was friendly & Covid aware with mask & counter shields. Not a lot of vehicle traffic, probably due to New Years holiday . Would definitely stay again. Daily rate varied from $95. to 90. over the 4 days of stay...our stay was a Premium lot with a basic level concrete pad & grass between lots. High water pressure. Stay from 12/31/20 to 1/4/21 ... We were in Class C motorhome

We love staying at Pecan Park , amazing for the kids and family, love the pool/amenities. Management always have something going to make your stay more fun. We were walking distance to indoor flea market, also 5 min drive to Walmart and a shopping center. Yes there is airplane passing through but you hear non while inside the RV and when out side with the music can't hear them, not a big deal so it is worth it. More than fare pricing, People was so friendly, kids and parents fishing.
We will definitely go again.
