Detailed Reviews
The person working there desk was sleeping, had to pound on glass to wake him up. Got to room and that’s where it went from bad to worse!! First, the latch lock on door was broken, drapes had holes, I thought to myself “ it’s 3am and you need sleep, these aren’t that bad”. Went to take a shower, and about screamed.., cockroaches, yes PLURAL, more than one!!! I went to desk to leave and get a refund, I was told by the clerk “sorry no refunds” I said “ I have not even been here 30 mins, the room is gross and has bugs” to which the reply was “what part of no refund do you not understand” I was floored, pi&$ed right off, “ what part of clean your Fuc&ing rooms don’t you understand” I was told if I didn’t want to stay in the room I could “ sleep in my vehicle” and he turned and walked away!!! Needless to say after driving 7 hours from North Carolina I was tired and just slept in my vehicle

Rude customer service. We drive 6 hours to get here to be told that they no longer go thru booking.com. we paid for the room thru booking and had to turn around and pay again. Funny thing is they had our reservations from booking just not the money we paid. So after figuring that out we get to our room pull back the blanket to a big blood stain on the comforter. Dead bugs (at least theyre dead right?) Floor so filthy im afraid to put my bare feet down. Something ate on me all thru the night. My husband booked the room and did not read any reviews. Oh and its me my husband and 2 teenage sons. There was only 2 towels and when he went to ask for more the most unpleasant female at the front starts drilling him on how many people is in our room. So 2 towels for 4 people is supposed to be enough i guess. Ive stayed in some pretty shotty hotels in my lifetime but at least the staff at those had good customer service skills. And then from the reviews i read on bbb, the response from the owners is well you shouldnt have stayed. Well you kind of have to when your on a budget and already paid for the nasty room twice.

I am used to 5 star, going thru a divorce and owner selling the condo i lived in and lawyers fees, I was in need of mercy. I am from the beach so I know nothing about the area, but I do now. I have never found myself in a position to not have permanent housing or what it felt like, but I do now. I have a job and a car, I have empathy for those that do not, I know how they feel now.. I believe Scottish Inns provides a service, an affordable rate for a roof over your head, to give you that mercy when you need it most, they did for me and I am greatful. So yea you might want to bring your own bedding, stuff might be broken or old, they provide housekeeping everyday and these people work hard. Be courteous, mind your own business and you will get that mercy a roof over your head. I was able to work remotely thru there wifi, the tv worked and so did the ice machine, if you kinda want to be left alone i suggest rm101 Thank you staff.

I visited this location and it was horrible. I left a backpack in the room and they claim they didn't find it. Which is a lie because I told the non speaking English maid about the bag being there. I called spoke with a rude man at front desk and he was very nasty. He had the audacity to tell me that he has a long line and I'm calling about a bag. Ask to speak with upper management and he claimed he was the manager. I can see why this place is rated horrible. BECAUSE IT IS

When we have arrived in our hotel room my 10-year-old daughter had to take a shower. After a few minutes I heard a scream. When I rushed in there to see what was the matter, she pointed above the door jam. As I looked up I found a used hypodermic needle.

Hookers getting in and out of vehicles. Someone knocked on my door to see if I can take them to get crack. My car got hit while parked. I had too plunge my own toilet and bring plunger back too front desk

We went down to Florida - to go to Mayo - and decided to try Scottish Inns. My brother- who was watching TV until later - got into his bed later on - around 1 am in the morning. But he discovered that his sheets were dirty - they had blood spots, and also dirt marks. So he called the front office - and they told him, that they do never give clean sheets out - and that we would have to move to another room - and by now it was going to 2 am. They told us - we could sleep on the dirty sheets or move - how do you move guests from one room to the other - at 2 am in the morning? Doesn't it make sense to just give clean sheets. I complained to the owner about it in the morning - he said "that is our policy" Of course - my brother slept on top of his bed - because he sleep on the dirty sheets - which doesn't make sense - because the blankets/duvets smelled so bad - I could hardly bring them to my face. This is the address: 2300 Phillips Highway. If possible - find a super 8 motel - or La Quinta.
