We stayed just one night at the Journey Inn on a visit to Hyde Park. It's a beautiful, spacious inn with very pleasant innkeepers. Val was very pleasant and helpful. And she served up a great breakfast, Journey Inn is very quiet despite being essentially on the main drag. If we find our way back to Hyde Park we'll be...

It was lovely having you - even for just 1 night! Thank you for mentioning that we are on the main road through the Hudson Valley, so we are very convenient to all the sites - yet it remains quiet (especially at night). We do hope you find your way back to the area - we'd love to have you...

We are no strangers to B&B's and were delighted to find the Journey Inn! The Hudson Valley has a true gem in this establishment. The Innkeepers, Valerie, Eric (and Dad) are delightful and we truly enjoyed our weekend visit. The Inn is immaculately clean and delightfully decorated. The rooms are cozy, inviting and makes you wish your home was like...

We were delighted to have you both and are so glad that, as seasoned B&Bers, you had such a lovely stay. We work hard to maintain a clean and comfortable place for our guests to feel at home and relaxed. Our little touches of truffles and complimentary beverages are there to make the Inn a bit more special. The french...

This was our 2nd visit to the Inn. We went up to celebrate our friends birthday for the weekend. Valerie and Eric do an amazing job running the inn. We met Eric for the first time and chatted with him for awhile. He is just chockfull of knowledge of the area. When you talk with Valerie it's like you have...

Thank you for coming back - it was so nice to see you all again and to be part of the birthday celebration. It was fun for us to hear what you discovered when you were here - from the distillery in Germantown to a pizzeria in Red Hook - you showed us things we didn't know. There is so...

The owners are very sweet hosts and the Journey Inn B&B was a great place to spend the night. We stayed in the Metro room which had a retro feel to it and seemed to be near and dear to their hearts since they lived in Brooklyn for so many years. They were eager to share recommendations of places to...

Thank you for taking the time to write such a sweet review. We are so happy you enjoyed your brief stay with us - and that you got your shoe back! We do have a fondness for the Metro room - we love mid-century design and the many, many years we lived in Brooklyn. But we are so happy in...

Valerie and Eric run a fine, friendly establishment with comfortable accommodations and delicious breakfasts.. centrally located to the CIA, the Roosevelt estate and other local attraction.. end of October is a beautiful time to visit with colors along the Hudson at their peak. It was wonderful having you! The end of October is so beautiful here - and this past year was one for the ages. We are so happy you got to experience an incredible Autumn. Our peak is later than most travelers realize - so late October and even early November can yield amazing colors! We do hope you come back...

I recently had the opportunity to spend several nights at the Journey Inn. The inn is lovely and the grounds are beautiful. Both mornings breakfast included a wonderful fruit. One morning breakfast included poached pears and the next day a delicious recipe included plums. My only regret was I didn't really have the time to spend at the Inn &...

Thank you so much for your beautiful review! We are so happy you noticed our grounds - even though it was late in the year and the frost had taken our late flowers - but the fall leaves were amazing this year, especially at the Vanderbilt Estate with those views! We love to offer a special fruit course at breakfast...

Stayed here during our annual trek to the Dutchess County Sheep and Wool Festival - in years past we have used hotels in Fishkill, Kingston, and Poughkeepsie, but we thought we would try a B&B this year for a change of pace.
