We visited Hyde Park in order to see the Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt homes and museums, and the Vanderbilt Mansion. We loved the Journey Inn: it's across the road from the Vanderbilt Mansion, and a short distance from the FDR home and Val-Kill and is itself a lovely house. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. Most rooms have...

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful B&B for a few days in November to take advantage of its proximity to the area's attractions (the Vanderbilt Estate, Roosevelt Library, and Culinary Institute). We were not dissapointed in any way! We stayed in the "Metro" room, which was very nice and included a ceiling fan and access to the balcony....

Thank you - it was fantastic for us to host you too! We want the Journey Inn to feel like a real home but with the little luxuries you get an an Inn. Our location make us a great choice for a Hudson Valley vacation, and we work hard to keep up with the culinary expectations of the area. We...

Four of us college friends chose the Journey Inn for a reunion in early November. We were very happy with our choice. The Innkeeper Valerie was warm and welcoming and the Inn was very comfortable. Two of us shared the Vanderbilt Suite (one queen and one twin) and the other two shared the Roosevelt Room (two twin beds and a...

Thank you for choosing the Journey Inn for your college friends group. We love hosting groups of friends - it is so fun for us! Your room choices were perfect for your group - and we are so pleased you took advantage of our location to walk on the Vanderbilt Estate across the street. And to visit the CIA for...

My husband and I just had the pleasure of visiting the Journey Inn for our second visit. Things were just as wonderful as our first time, if not even better! Valerie and Eric are gracious and warm hosts – never intrusive yet available for questions if needed. The Inn is just beautifully kept. You can see the pride in their...

We will always have room for you! Thank you so much for coming back and letting us know how much you enjoyed your stay. We love food "snobs" because we love food and love feeding people. We really do want our breakfasts to be special - not fancy, just delicious. And coffee is as critical to us as it is...

Journey Inn has it all: wonderful and friendly inn keepers - who are also very helpful with directions and local information, fantastic location - right across the street from the entrance to the Vanderbilt estate, lovely grounds, spacious and comfortable bedrooms and common spaces, delicious and plentiful breakfasts that will last you until dinner, a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, and...

We are so pleased you stayed with us. Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know how much you enjoyed the Inn and your stay in Hyde Park. Our location is just perfect to see the sites. From my first contact with the friendly and helpful owner, Valerie, this was a very pleasant experience. When we arrived, Kim made us feel welcomed and showed us around the beautiful, clean and comfortable house. The aroma of bacon was a foretaste of the delicious breakfast we were to enjoy the next morning. We stayed in the beautiful Vanderbilt Suite...

Thank you Durinda! Sometimes we have to be away, and I was so very sorry not to be here to meet you after our lovely conversations. However, we have 2 wonderful Innsitters, Kim and Christine, that you were lucky to meet during your stay. I know they enjoy waking up the house with the smell of bacon - and you...
