This was such a comfortable place to stay, and so nostalgic. I've not been to Hyde Park before, but I love beautiful, clean, comfortable, safe hotels from the 1950's!! This is a perfect place to stay while touring the National Parks there.

Appreciated the opportunity to stay here for one night on a first-time visit to the area as I felt I received excellent value. The room was comfortable and I appreciated the hospitality of not just a welcoming breakfast spread of donuts, cereal, fruit and pastries in the morning, but access to complimentary hot chocolate and microwave popcorn in the evening....

The room was simple, but clean. Kind of like stepping back in time as we were given an actual key (not a swipe card) for our room. If you are looking for something fancy, this is not the place for you. But, if you just want a comfortable, clean place to rest after a day of sight seeing, then this...

We were in the Hyde Park area to visit the Roosevelt Estate and do some biking on local rail trails. The location was ideal, on Rte 9 going north, busy, but convenient. It is a motel, but with some charm and a good feeling. There is a do it yourself breakfast area with a retro feel, English muffins, donuts, coffee,...

I was looking for a clean, reasonable overnight stay. The property is well maintained with a friendly front desk staff. The Inn proved to be just what I was looking for. The location was close to our two destinations Culinary Institute and FDR site as well. A classic, charming motel.

Stayed here one night with our visit to the Culinary Institute of America for dinner and a visit to the FDR historic site in Hyde Park. Clean, comfortable and close to what we wanted to see and do. Reasonable cost for room with two double beds, small table with 2 chairs, cable TV (no premier channels), small fridge, no microwave...

Family-owned, beautifully maintained, friendly, 50s era motel. Great conversations with other travelers in the on-site coffee shop that provides self-serve breakfast. Rooms are small but have everything you need. Attracts many return guests.

Traveled with friends so reserved 2 rooms. One with a King and one with the 2 Doubles. Both rooms were clean, roomy and comfortable. Had everything that we needed.....mini-fridge, TV (with a detailed channel guide supplied by the hotel...color coded based on types of channels), solid wifi, 2 luggage racks (where do you get 2 luggage racks?) and comfortable beds....

We stayed in the older "rustic" rooms. The room was small and the style was dated, but it was clean and cozy. Overall, an average place to stay with a fair room rate for what you get. Location is on the main north/south road through Hyde Park and about a mile from the FDR Home and Museum and Presidential Library.

Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay with us. I am pleased to hear that you found the room clean and cozy. The Rustic rooms are my favorite in that respect--small and cozy-- although the furniture is new, it's meant to be evocative of the Catskill/ Adirondack type lodging popular in the 50's and 60's.
