The 1863 Inn is very clean, the staff attentive and friendly, the beds comfortable. The lobby is a cozy gathering place with easy chairs and a couch centered around a warm gas fireplace, with coffee, tea, hot chocolate always available.
"Beautiful sunsets from the front, quiet at the back."
"Best view/ 4th floor overlooking town. Quiet/ back rooms facing parking lot."
"Rooms upfront may have road noise to contend with while the ones in back get a view of the field of AC units."
"If you don't prefer road noise, ask to be on the opposite side of the road."
"There is some road noise for rooms at the front (west side) of the hotel. If that's an issue, ask for a room at the rear."
