Excellent facility, excellent and friendly staff, convenient location and cleanliness is unbelievably fantastic. Easy access to Downtown Gettysburg. Innkeepers care about your needs while staying at the Brick House Inn and always willing to assist. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is freshly cooked and delicious. We love our stay at the Brick House Inn Gettysburg.
We spent two wonderful nights at the Brickhouse Inn in early March 2020, and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Kentucky Suite; we were particularly grateful for the delectable breakfasts provided by Tessa. She and Brian were very thoughtful hosts, sharing the history of the inn, giving suggestions for historic sights and local restaurants, and providing a warm relaxing atmosphere. Being history buffs, we were fascinated at seeing the still existing bullet impressions on the outside brick wall of our porch, a result of Union soldiers firing at Confederate snipers who had taken up positions in the inn during the battle of Gettysburg. But the highlight of our stay had to be the absolutely delicious breakfast casserole that Tessa served to us our last morning at the inn. It was so good that I bought a recipe book that includes the recipe for the dish. Overall a beautiful inn with informative caring staff and exceptional cuisine. We will be back.…
My partner and I stayed in the Maryland Room and were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The Inn’s decor is tasteful and period-focused, breakfast is delicious and elegantly presented, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. We will be back!
My fiancée and I stayed over for a little night getaway and words cant describe how perfect it was! Very cozy and the staff was excellent! They made sure our stay was as perfect as can be. We highly recommended staying here!
I researched several establishments and the Brickhouse had every thing I was looking for in a B. and B. I was right in town so walking to museums and restaurants was a breeze. Our room was spotless and so cozy. (Texas room) Tessa made sure that my dietary needs were satisfied at breakfast. She also suggested we tour the battlefield with a personal guide which was an excellent idea. I look forward to returning to Gettysburg and I will certainly return to this well run inn. I should also add that coming home from tours and finding a variety of delicious baked goods was a very nice treat with my cup of tea.
