A very historical house in a town steeped in history. The hosts were great! They guided us to a room that we thoroughly enjoyed and then met all our needs. Even though the house is over 200 years old, the accommodations were excellent.

Not only can you relax in the comfort of a cozy room by a fireplace, you can browse the shops in town or head out to the nearby wineries. Did not stay for the tree lighting which I believe would have been wonderful on Friday. The best thing is I didn't have to cook because we had a nice dinner... More

My wife and I have stayed at the Brafferton Inn several times. We have always had a pleasant time. The rooms are clean, the breakfasts are delicious and the staff is very gracious. It's location is great for walking and exploring what the town has to offer.

Great visit and cannot wait to see them again! This was our first time at a bed and breakfast and what an amazing experience it was for both of us. I am an extremely picky eater and the menu often left me unfulfilled and hungry. All-in-all, beautiful home with great staff. The bathrooms in the suites are modern and up... More

An excellent Bed & Breakfast run by a very nice family who has been doing this for years. Comfortable rooms. Great service. Delicious breakfasts. Near a variety of stores, bars, and dining options. Our group stayed in the Battle Room & Olde Master Room, and we recommend both! Olde Master Room's bathroom is across the hall (vs. attached to the... More

I loved staying in a historic building during our visit to Gettysburg. We spent three nights in the Hoke Room in October. This room, on the second floor of the original house, was comfortable and inviting. The only window faced the neighboring building, so there was no view, but it was quiet. Our hosts, Brian and Joan, were welcoming and... More

Our child attends Gettysburg College and this is an excellent "home" to stay in during those stays. The property is extremely well taken care of. The rooms have always been spacious and tastefully decorated. The breakfast is outstanding! Brian is an awesome cook who crafts homemade meals (the pastries are a great start to the meal) with enough of a... More

“If you book the Eisenhower Room just be prepared to climb up two flights of stairs with your luggage because it is located on the top floor and not connected to the main entrance. We didn't mind this and the room was very quiet.”

“This was our first time at a bed and breakfast and what an amazing experience it was for both of us. I am an extremely picky eater and the menu often left me unfulfilled and hungry. All-in-all, beautiful home with great staff. The bathrooms in the suites are modern and up to date. Enjoyed being in old downtown Gettysburg. Looking forward to our next visit. It's not every day that you get to sleep in a home that was built not long after America's War For Independence. The suite has DIRECTV and two separate full bathrooms. Additionally, there is a pull out sleeper sofa in the sitting room.”
