My husband and I just spent two wonderful nights at the Baladerry Inn, an historical home built in 1812, with an addition to the main house in 1830. It has lovingly been restored, and retains many beautiful details. We stayed in the "Rose Room", located in the Carriage House, which has a queen size bed, private bath, and outdoor terrace... More

My wife and I spent a wonderful three days at Baladerry in Sept 2016. If we had the time we would have stayed longer but prior commitments prevented this. A wonderful setting with wildlife just a few yards away. We were warmly welcomed by Judy and the cat, who promptly escorted us to our room!!!! Immaculate room with all amenities... More

I stayed here for just one night on a stop over visiting Gettysburg. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay (as short as it was). The owners were lovely ( always a worry when you stay at B&B's), happy for a chat but not in your face. The building and room itself was lovely and very comfortable and the bed was huge... More

I absolutely loved my stay at the Baladerry Inn. The owner, Judy, was very welcoming and truly made me feel at home. The room was beautiful and impeccably clean. The WiFi was fast with a good connection. The care that the owners put into this place is incredible. The three course breakfast was absolutely amazing. The morning I was there... More

We've been coming to the Baladerry Inn for many years because it is the friendliest, cleanest, and most relaxing place we've ever stayed at in Gettysburg. It is our absolute first choice when traveling to Gettysburg. We often book a year in advance for what we know will be a busy weekend in this beautiful town. The owners, Judy and... More

We've stayed in many B&Bs in popular areas and rate the Baladerry as one of the best we have seen. Fantastic quiet location but minutes from the battlefield visitor center. This is a small, old building that has recently been expanded and there is also an annex building. Rooms are tastefully furnished, not stuffed with brick-a-brack like so many B&Bs.... More

First time staying in a B&B and we really enjoyed our visit. The inn is located with just a little over 5 or 10 minutes of Visitor Center, Downtown, or the "driving tour" of Gettysburg. The breakfast was just right with an emphasis on nutrition I think. The hosts were very friendly and nice folks to be around. Yummy snacks... More

Staying here was an okay experience although I probably won't stay again. This was my first experience with a bed and breakfast. The walls are paper thin was the big problem, could hear people talking and using bathroom...and the snoring. Halfway through my shower water turned ice cold when I was soapy with shampoo in my hair. I just had... More

Wonderful, relaxing stay! Our hosts could not have been more accommodating. We were driving from Philly, and got stuck in traffic. We arrived after check-in, so they left our key and helpful instructions on where things were. A stocked fridge and snacks were also available. Excellent breakfast and very clean rooms. We loved the location, just outside of town. This... More

Have not stated at a B&B before, most of my stay have been at Hilton's, Hyatt's, etc.., but this place really impressed me. They made me feel like I was staying with family! The food was awesome, and we were extremely comfortable. It was a quaint home, that really immersed you in the culture of Gettysburg.
