We really enjoyed our stay at Baladerry Inn! The rooms and common areas were so clean and neat with interesting antiques and history to take in. Judy cooked a delicious breakfast from ingredients raised on the property, and Kenny was the perfect server. We will certainly return!

My family rented out the entire Inn for a weekend get together. Kenny and Judy made it so special for us. We've stayed at the Inn numerous times, and this trip exceeded our expectations. They had indoor and outdoor games ready for us, special breakfasts and dinners, and even ordered birthday cakes for 2 special occasions we were celebrating. Judy's special ice cream dessert was such a hit! They had the outdoor firepit stocked for us and the hot tub open and inviting. They even had our favorite wines on hand.

The property is always so well maintained, and we loved watching the wildlife - deer, birds, etc. While so close to town, the Inn is located in a beautiful and quiet setting, great for walks and enjoying coffee or wine on the patio. The entire Inn is so clean, with 10 lovely rooms, and a Great Room with a beautiful fireplace and loft area. We had so much fun playing games and enjoying the fireplace in the Great Room in the evenings.

I would highly recommend the Inn for couples or larger groups looking for a beautiful and relaxing place to stay while visiting the Gettysburg area.

Thank you Kenny and Judy! We cannot wait to come back for another visit!

This is a very well operated B and B with great attention to detail and in a great location near the Visitors Center and only minutes from downtown Gettysburg. We were there three days and each morning's breakfast was wonderful. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very clean and comfortable room.

We stayed 3/12-3/14 in the Shamrock Suite. We chose that room for the fireplace but since the temps were in the 60's, the air was on so the fireplaces were shut off even though the temps were below freezing at night. This was a pretty big let down if you specifically look for rooms with a fireplace like we do. The shower head in the bathroom wasn't the best, but the bed was firm yet comfortable and the room is spacious. On a more positive note, I have stayed in almost all of the B&B's in the GB area and the breakfast at the Baladerry was top notch. I'd go as far to say the best, hands down. There was lots of coffee, tea and cocoa but no cookies (there was a basket of chocolate instead). The Inn is beautiful, clean and the innkeepers are friendly.

Spring time in this area can vary and I am sorry that you did not get to use the fireplace! So glad to hear that you appreciated all the other amenities, and yes because of covid we went with the wrapped candies instead of cookies. I miss the cookies too and will bring them back asap!! Thanks so much for your visit and review!

Our adult son purchased this weekend stay as a Christmas present for us and it was wonderful. The entire grounds and buildings are beautiful and immaculate, set in a peaceful and tranquil setting.
We stayed for two nights in the Marigold Room in the Carriage House. The room was on the second floor. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and really comfortable. The bed was really comfortable so we got a great night sleep both nights.
We looked forward to breakfast each morning for I heard how good it was and those reviews were spot on. The kind, funny woman that served breakfast was so attentive and friendly. Judy and Ken, the owners were so friendly and accommodating.
The Inn is located close to everything you would want to experience in Gettysburg so it was so convenient to be able to run back to our room to get washed up or change for other activities.
We will definitely stay at the Baladerry Inn in the future. There is no need to look elsewhere for all of our needs were met.

Our stay at the Baladerry Inn was a memory we will always treasure, which truly exceeded our expectations! Judy and her staff hosted our exquisite wedding reception and bridal party breakfast. They served our delicious meals with ease and elegance (some guests left with her recipes)! Dietary needs were met, as we were able to select our wedding meal in advance. When we arrived at the reception, our guests were already enjoying appetizers in the sunshine! The setting provided social distancing choices with plenty of space, as some of our guests ate on the patio and walked out to the gazebo with their desserts. In addition, the Inn was kept very clean and sanitized during the entire length of our stay. Everyone who attended and stayed with us has raved about the tasty food, superb service, as well as the atmosphere of this beautiful cozy inn, nestled in lavish grounds of Gettysburg. We continued to soak up the serenity of the warm hot tub and sipped tea on our patio watching the sunrise--anxiously awaiting the scrumptious breakfast each day! This was an ideal setting for a picture-perfect reception, bridal breakfast, and a romantic honeymoon!!! I would highly recommend this  bed and breakfast for a vacation getaway or a catered affair. The hosts warmly welcomed all of us and every guest that I have talked to felt it was worth every penny! We booked another room before we left!

This was our very first stay at a bed & breakfast. Let me tell you we picked the perfect one!
The Baladerry Inn was one in a million! The owners provided first class hospitality and the Rose Room where we stayed was spotless and comfortable. The food was a Culinary Delight!

We really enjoyed our stay!

I always love staying here and enjoy the warm welcome, peaceful surroundings and big breakfast. As a bird watcher I find this a great place to stay. I encourage the innkeepers to put a bar of soap in the shower instead of storing it under the bathroom sink and also to provide a normal size pillow instead of an enormous bolster. Putting the normal size pillow in the closet is not helpful. So on my first night I washed myself with shampoo and slept with a folded towel as a pillow since I figured there was no soap and no normal pillow. Small things, but actually quite inconvenient. I think our innkeepers expect guests to be more imaginative than we are.

Me and my husband stayed in the Marigold room, we ended up booking another room for night 2 because we werent quite ready to go home yet and they were understanding enough to move things around so we could stay in the same room.
It was quite and so peaceful exactly what I needed to destress from everything life throws at you.
The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The breakfast was delicous both mornings, me and my husband both had practically spotless plates by the time we were done eating.
100% recommend and 100% will be back for our future trips to Gettysburg.

A Inn with a historical past, a great location to battlefields and owners who truly welcome you into their home make this a perfect place to stay in Gettysburg.
We could even walk to Little Round Top and Devils Den.
We especially enjoyed the fire pit after a long day of seeing the sights!

If you stay in the Garden room, this room is in the main house with a queen bed and private bath and very convenient to the beverage center, the breakfast room and TV room. It is also very close to the main patio. You would only have one step to get to your room. You could also do the Daisy or Rose Room in the carriage House which is only 25 yards to the main house. You would have two steps into that home and both rooms have a Queen bed with private bath, private patio and TV in room.
