My son and I were on a road trip and made a last minute stop in Gettysburg. Found this hotel on Trip Advisor and it was lovely. The manager was very helpful--loaned us umbrellas to use--rainy evening--and after we returned from dinner was happy to get us a few drinks from the bar. We would definitely return.

Relax We had a beautiful king suite on the first floor overlooking the porch. It was very quiet, we did not hear any sttreet noise at all. The room was spotless and the bathroom huge. There was a keurig and coffee in the room along with bottled water. There also was a small frig. We had a few drinks and... More

This is a new hotel (3 years) in a wonderful old schoolhouse building with very high ceilings and rock solid construction. We have a King Bed Suite which is really a large L-shaped room, very comfortable. Large bathtub and a good-looking shower. Tea set up in the hall every afternoon, coffee every morning. Lots of restaurants in town, and good... More

The hotel is simply stunning. Exceptionally clean and within walking distance to downtown. The rooms are wonderfully appointed with period decor. Our bathroom had a gorgeous walk in tiled shower and a section of the old brick wall was left exposed in the bathroom. We had reservations at the Segway tour business which is literally right across the street. The... More

It was my first time staying at a sort of older building and not a Marriott or holiday Inn type hotel...but the rooms are clean spacious and beautiful , the downstairs bartender Angie us the sweetest and extremely friendly , their is a rich history all over the hotel and is simply amazing.

What a joy after the hustle of New York. The building retains its character but the fitments are new. The rooms are big and bright with furniture in keeping with the period. Comfy bed, coffee maker, fridge, hot shower and a jacuzzi style bath. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant was only open one night we were... More

Check in a breeze and staff pleasant and professional. Scones and tea available at check in. Rooms off set into small areas. Our room was a King Suite. The room was very large and equipped with a refrigerator and jet tub. Room was tastefully decorated. Location was center to center of town and restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed over Labor Day weekend and were on a high floor in this beautiful hotel. When we checked in the receptionist was so helpful and helped us map out attractions that met our interests for the following day. Our room had high ceilings and was luxurious and spacious. It is only a 10 minute walk to the historic circle... More

We checked out this morning after a two night stay. Beautifully restored building - beautiful and comfortable room - a very short walk to restaurants and the center of town. We highly recommend. The little pub downstairs was great fun - a great mix of locals and hotel guests made for fun evenings - the crab cakes were great! Our... More
