Stayed at Round Top for 4 nights with my 7 yr old daughter. I paid for 3 nights and got the 4th free! We both enjoyed our stay. The campground was very clean and attractive. Did not go into the bathrooms, as I had my own. The pool is huge and well maintained. The staff were very friendly inside the...

I realize Gettysburg attracts Civil War Reinactors due to the history. HOWEVER, that is fine for the battlefield or public parks. Not a campground where people go to relax, unwind and rest. The reinactors were camping at Round Top this weekend and without warning, BOOM, BOOM. Kids, babies and pets were surprised, frightened. Me too. Trying to relax and unwind...

We made reservations to stay at Round Top campground for 1 evening in December 2009. The weekend of our reservation happened to be the weekend of the large snowstorm that hit the east coast. Round Top called me the day of our reservation to ask if we were coming because they were having issues plowing. We understood this to mean...

We made resevations for a pull thru, when we got there we where given a pull thru which backed on Highway 15, a four lane heavily travelled truck highway. We should have been informed it was backing on a highway. We had very little sleep, even with the air on it was very noisy with truck traffic all night ....

The tent sites are not private or even tree-covered. Some are appear to be in the backyard of a neighboring house, and the "more secluded" sites are actually along Rt 15 (a major highway) and have power lines over head, but no privacy. The campground looked fine otherwise, but we decided not to stay because the sites were so unattractive.

The advertised internet isn't here, apparently a money dispute between owners and provider, this akes it very dificult to even do casual work on the weekend. Not clear who is in charge owners apparently also own Drummer Boy a few miles north on US 15 and that appears to be their focus, I got the impression that they could care...

My fiance and I stayed in one of the cottages in August 2008. The cottage itself was very cute and comfortable. Loved the fact that we could actually cook food - saved lots of $$$ just by not having to go out to eat every day. The thing is, lots of people actually live here. There are trailers that have...

Let me start out by saying I'm spoiled because I'm used to camping at Thousand Trails campgrounds...... this campground was typical of public campgrounds, but really was pretty nice. The location is very convenient, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The price is slightly lower than the other Gettysburg campgrounds, and they had a special where if you...
