Had a lovely time at this beautiful B&B for our anniversary. The staff was very friendly, breakfast and snacks were delicious, and the room was excellent with a great view of the property. Accommodations were even nicer than the pictures. Swimming pool area was very nice too. Highly recommend!
Our Son surprised us at Christmas with a two night stay to this beautiful bed and breakfast in Gettysburg and I can't say enough wonderful things about it. Our room was perfect and so cozy. The entire house is decorated beautifully and the views are amazing! The breakfast was so delicious each morning as were the pastries and cookies. The owners and staff were all very pleasant and helpful. It's a short drive from downtown Gettysburg which makes it nice and convenient. If you really want a place to stay that makes you feel like you are getting away from it all then look no further! We will most definitely be back!
We stayed two weekday nights at the Inn at White Oak while visiting Gettysburg. It is a quick and direct drive from the inn to to Gettysburg and worth it to be a little bit out of town for the lovely setting. We were in the General suite and it was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The breakfasts were fantastic and the hosts are wonderful. I would stay here again when visiting the area.
We usually do not choose 'Bed and Breakfast' lodgings when we travel but are very glad we chose 'The Inn at White Oak' for our recent visit to Gettysburg. The entire visit worked out well; from the reservation / booking process to our departure. The Innkeepers (Shiree, Craig, Dotsie, Millie (the dog), etc.) are very welcoming, helpful and gracious hosts and the Inn itself with its property is a great setting. The food was creative and excellent and the hosts provided very good recommendations for dining in town. Also, they can book battlefield tours and museum / cyclorama tickets which is a great service and they do have spa services on the property. Importantly, in our current environment, they follow COVID Guidelines and the Inn is very clean with a safe feeling. When we return to Gettysburg we will definitely return and have recommended it to friends and relatives.…
Staff was wonderfully accommodating. Each time we had thought wouldn’t it be nice if...they were there within minutes without us even asking - it was like they were reading our minds. Breakfast is out of this world wonderful! Very clean and beautifully decorated inside. Stayed in the carriage house and majors quarters and they moved our stuff in between nights since we couldn’t get the same room. Everything was awesome! Quick response to some minor maintenance to the pool that was needed and anything else we asked for.
