In the heart of downtown Gettysburg is the most amazing inn. This charming place is very clean and each room with its own unique style of decor. Owners Hillary and Gus are amazing. Super nice and they can take pride in what they have done with the inn. Located with in walking distance of all the quaint shops of Gettysburg and multiple restaurants. You won't go wrong by staying here! This was my second stay and I can't wait to go back.
Perfect location minutes away from gettysburg. We had 7 people in this town house and there was plenty of room. They also let us bring our dog and just asked us to keep him on the first floor and kenneled when we would leave. The kitchen was well equiped with pots pans just about anything u would need in a kitchen.i was even more impressed when I forgot something sentimental and texted the host and they told me they would ship it back to me. The only thing that was a burden was the parking we were only allowed one spot and being a family of seven that made it annoying but the flip side parking garage a walk across the street.
Perfect location, Rooms are spacious, clean and very relaxing.. We have stayed with the Inn twice this year and will use them every time we stay at Gettysburg. The owners are very accommodating and easy to deal with.. There are large amounts of literature in the room, from ghost tours, to food to museums and anything else you don’t want to miss on your stay.. You can’t go wrong staying here.
Inn at Lincoln Square Eva room was unreal. Very spacious, comfortable and great location to the heart of the town of Gettysburg. I would definitely recommend staying here and my girlfriend and I will probably stay there again.
We stayed in the Irene Danner suite. The room was beautiful the bed was so comfortable and bathroom was lovely. We enjoyed the view right at the Square. We will definitely be looking you up again for another visit. Thank you, Gus.
The Sarah Danner Townhouse is in a perfect location, behind the main building of the Inn which is located right on the square in the middle of the historic area with everything within walking distance (not the Battlefield) . This kept the traffic noise down as being on the main road can be loud, as we learned from previous experience at another hotel. The townhouse backs up to an alley where parking is reserved for the Inn and traffic is light and slow through it. The townhouse is complete with everything and like your own home away from home in Gettysburg. It has two proper bedrooms and a third bed with closet off the second floor stair landing, and a washer/dryer. There is also a private small landscaped courtyard with a bench and decorative lighting shared with the adjacent…
Had a wonderful getaway weekend at the Inn at Lincoln Square. Stayed in the Irene Danner suite, well equipped, very comfortable and clean. Love the history of the Inn, great decor and the location can't be beat! Definitely will stay here again.
Staying at The Inn on Lincoln Square was wonderful! The former Danner House is being well-honored, thanks to Gus and Hillary. We booked the Mary Juliet suite on the first floor and could peek out our window to see the Lincoln statue pointing up to his second floor room in the David Wills house, two doors down. Other inns could take a lesson from the efficient check-in process that was completely virtual. Thank-you! The suite itself was spacious, sparking clean, and the furnishings added to the broader historic experience at Gettysburg. For history buffs, STAY HERE! Information as to local eateries and establishments was on hand and very helpful. We plan to review two of the local restaurants, as well. We've stayed in many, many places both in the US and international. This Inn…
Very old world when you walk into the room. Not a speck of dirt or anything anywhere which is surprising considering how old the building is. You can walk to anywhere you want basically. Try the Gettysburger and Blue and Gray Grill for wonderful food. You park in back and walk through a courtyard which is nice and private. I cant find any knocks against the place but the only thing I would say is mattress probably needs to be turned. Last thing the room we stayed in was on first floor and connected to the door to the basement , which freaked/ fascinated my wife out since she likes to sorta ghost hunt stuff. I went down there to glance around and nothing spooky or spectacular at all, but interesting to see since this is where they probably hid during…
What a neat location for a wedding. The innkeepers were EXTREMELY accommodating and helpful. From the decor to the cool keyless entry -- our stay was great. The room had everything we needed and the nearby courtyard was a great place to hang out with our other friends staying at the inn. Would absolutely recommend the Inn at Lincoln Square.
