We just got back from our RV trip to Gettysburg and couldn’t be happier with this campground. It is well laid out, clean facilities, and the staff is great. But even better is the location. There is a horse trail that leads to the area of the PA monument, about 1/2 mile away. I took my two kids (8/6) there and walked round trip. The opposite direction 1/2 mile is little round top. Highly recommend this site for anybody that’s looking to walk or ride bikes around the battlefield. I went for a morning jog up little round top and down through the valley and I was the only one there, it was amazing. We’re not into horses, but the campground has a lot of great programs for people into that. It was our favorite spot of our trip.

They have a new pool which is very nice. They have added a bunch of sites to the campground. The campground is very clean and well taken care of. I noticed the owners son walking around helping people coming in and getting accommodated to their site and being hands on with campers. At night it’s quiet and peaceful. They had a few different vendors come in each day which gave the campers options as far as food and drinks. They definitely upgraded and brought this campground to be one of the better ones in Gettysburg. We will be coming back July 4th weekend and in October for Halloween.

We had an excellent time , met some great people too. Just up the road from the battlefield ..loved walking the battlefield and reflecting on what these volunteer soldiers, went through and sacrificed, also the town of Gettysburg is awesome, and was jumping till at least 10 pm, LOTS of things to eat, and do , and learn about, ..the campground, was very nice, and recently renovated….pool, miniature golf , big pavilion with a huge fireplace, not to mention the horse park, that you can rent ad go on a two hour guided tour ride through the battlefield….super AWESOME. We’ll be back for sure. I recommend this campground to anyone , especially if they like history!

This place keeps getting better! Same ARCG we expect, but with many improved amenities. New pool, pavilion, mini golf and dog play area all new for '22. Road improvements, site upgrades, new bath house and all new laundry machines and a 24hr fire wood dispenser!😀😁 Lots of awesome programs and local vendors, and they still have the great staff! If you have horses, this is the only place you'll want to be. For the lover of history, you can't get any closer to sleeping on the battlefield and only minutes from downtown. Great for families, and great for the doggos! Great job!

Going cross country with our friends in 2 motorhomes. We usually stay at KOAs but Artillary Ridge is unbeatable. Great facilities so much to do. Best catch and release fishing pond out if the 4 we have tried. Actually had some big fish. Construction on big building next to the pool was loud at times but not disturbing. They have a secret Wi-Fi that woks great but standard Wi-Fi is poor. They have horses and a very accommodating staff. We lucked out finding Artillary ridge right across the street from some monuments of Gettysburg battlefields. You won’t be sorry staying here.

This is our first time at Artillery Ridge. We choose this campground because of how close it is to downtown Gettysburg and the battlefields. We were a bike ride away from the awesome Visitor's Center and the entrance to the battlefields. Right from the campground is a trail to get to the audio tour route, under 5 mins. In about ten minutes you can be on Baltimore St and eating ice cream at Mr. Gas, shopping, or eating yummy food. The breweries are a bike ride away as are the ghost tours. The workers at the campground are so kind and helpful. They send lovely text each day to share the events of the day, Easter Bunny visits, wine event, egg decorating, etc. The camp store had a lot of items you would need for camping at good prices. They also had a gift shop with camping items and Gettysburg memorabilia. We are definitely planning to stay here again. By summer a new pool, mini golf, and huge fire place for games and activities will be finished. Great place to stay with easy parking of your trailer!

This was a great place to stop on our trip south. Never saw any workers. They had contactless check in. Our stuff was hanging in a shed by the entrance. There was a map so we just followed that to our spot. All we needed was electro hookup. It was cold but we brought water & cranked the furnace. Had a great nights sleep. The place was icy from recent storms but we were able to get in & out ok. We used the bathroom once there & it was good. Will definitely make this one of our stopping spots on the long trip south & back.

We recently stayed at this campground. I wanted to let the public know that customer service is alive and well at Artillery Ridge! Both Sue at the front desk, and Jennifer in Housekeeping went out of their way to help us. Sue helped book our next trip, and Jennifer took me around the camp ground while I looked at the available cabins. Sue patiently answered my many questions about the camp ground, the surrounding area, and secured our camp site for next year. Jennifer was kind enough to give me a ride back to my camper after our tour. Having worked in the hotel business, and also having trained dozens of employees, I can tell you their professionalism was exceptional. Thank you.

This is the best campground and closest to Gettysburg Battlefields. We always have a great time. The kids were able to go Trick-or-Treating and afterwards they had a dance party at the pavilion and the DJ was amazing. There was a BBQ food truck one day, and 2 different ice cream trucks that stopped by. Each day there was a "Farmer's Market". This campground is amazing. Lots of activities and always friendly staff.

This is the second time we have stayed at this campground and I HIGHLY recommend it. Especially if you have small children. I no longer do, but the Halloween events they had were great for kids! Also loved the food truck options! The campground is well kept, great sized sites, and it's always fun to see the horses. I'm already planning our next trip!
