The staff was very friendly and answered my questions. Very polite. We were doing a short trip with a couple of overnight stops before winterizing and storing for the season. The sites are gravel but fairly level and it was easy to set up. We enjoyed being outside at the campground. I took some pics of some of the birds in the campground. Got me out of the camper and did a little walking around looking for things to shoot. This is October so it was not filled to capacity. It was quiet at night and we got a good nights sleep. We would like to return during one of the warmer months and spend some time touring the park. We enjoyed our stay.

Artillery Ridge is just a stone throw away from history. Camping at Artillery Ridge was so much fun! The amenities at the campground are great! The kids had a blast playing miniature golf, on the playground, fishing and even a little Trick-or-Treating too! The camp store had everything we needed! Everyone was very friendly. We had a great spot on the pond and it was so peaceful.

Our tent site was amazing... it was big and very secluded, which is what we had hoped for! Everything was clean, and it was very close to all the restaurants and attractions in the area! We couldn't have picked a better campground!

We went for an adult weekend with 2 other couples. we pitched tents and was on of the lucky ones to stay right near the horses. It was great to have breakfast with great friends but to also have breakfast with the horses as well. We had plenty of room for all of us in a camp site. All of us girls were so impressed by the SUPER CLEAN bathrooms, and clean campground. We were so close to down town Gettysburg and all the attractions. We all decided that our next stay will be with our kids, because they would enjoy this campground greatly, especially to see the horses, mini golf, pond to fish. I was so impressed.

We camped here over a beautiful weekend with my children. First of all, the campers are crowded next to each other. I have camped all over the country and the spacing was ridiculous. Next, the sites were mostly gravel. I felt like I was camping in the middle of the road. Our fire pit was also close to the road. We won't be returning , especially for the price. the only advantage I saw was you are right next to the battlefield and not far from town. I know we would have preferred a nicer place and a little bit of a drive to get to the battlefield.
