We stopped in for one night as it is conveniently located. Older park. Restroom/bathhouse had a sign stating that it had recently been renovated. Had no A/C so it was unbearably hot and of course humid even at 9pm. Showered, but needed another by the time I got out of there. We were assigned a spot overlooking the horse area,... More

This is a nice park with location, location, location but is not a resort my any stretch of the imagination. It is overpriced for the services provided. In desperate need of major upgrades, routine maintenance and improved layout of campsites. The available horseback riding is fantastic and by far the best amenity offered, which alone is enough to visit the... More

Pricey but I knew that going in. Nice quiet campground very close to Gettysburg Battlefields. Brought my LQ horse trailer and found electric and water hookups to be spaced nicely between campers. Horse accommodations were nice in the box stalls and the pens appeared nice sized as well. Bath house just over the rise from my trailer though I had... More

This is an older campground that needs some TLC. We requested a pull through. We got it! The site was gravel. Fairly level. E/W/S/C worked well. WiFi was iffy. We did not use the bathrooms. The smell of manure is strong. They give you free ticks to three venues. We only made it to the Railroad Museum. The " train"... More

Quite campground close to Gettysburg Battlefield Visitor Center. Shuttle service available for some tours. A good camp store available. Discounts available for Good Sam and Discover America members. We took a very interesting tour of 2 hours of the Gettysburg Battlefield that was suggested by this camp ground personnel.

We were happy to find a travel trailer park so close to the Gettysburg sites, but I expected a cleaner place, especially for the daily price charged. First of all, you can't get the smell of horse manure off your senses. It hits you as soon as you get out of your vehicle. The place needs some tidying up, it's... More

I want to say a few words about Artillery Ridge, first of all the place is very nice it could not be in a better location to the battle field. The people are very nice and wish to help you with what ever your needs be. We stayed in one of the cabins with a bathroom and shower, it was... More

The Civil War is my wife's favorite time in history and we love exploring. What better time to visit this historic place then in early July, about the time of the actual battle. We have an RV but like to ride our bikes. In only a few short strides down a slightly busy road, we were at the entrance to... More

On the recommendation of friends with an RV, we decided to take our pop-up camper to Artillery Ridge for a long weekend in Gettysburg. We stayed for three nights, beginning on a Thursday, and the cost was $165. The employees were friendly at check-in we had no trouble getting to our site (site 38). I was concerned about the conditions... More

We stayed at Artillery Ridge in a 40 foot class A and it was very nice. Easy in and out for our big rig towing our CRV. Close go everything in Gettysburg. The office people are friendly and helpful. The park has horses to plan accordingly. The park is older and some things should be updated but otherwise great value.
