Sites are nice and wooded! Staff is friendly and very helpful, this being our first time camping they helped us get in the site with no problem! Seem to have a decent amount of events for kids, but not sure what other campgrounds offer since this was our first time.

We had a nice camping experience at Granite Hill. The bathroom facilities were clean and my daughter enjoyed the large wooden pirate ship in the sand area. The ghost tour onsite was fun and the haunted house onsite was well done. The location is very convenient to local attractions. The campsites were easy to pull into. The food in the...

We love camping at Granite Hill Campground because it is always fun. The campground is always taken care of, clean, and there are so many things to do or if you want, just sit back and relax. The staff is very friendly and make us always feel at home. The children enjoyed the ship playground and flying kites in the...

My family and I have made this place an annual event for us and our family friends to camp in October. The Granite Hill folks go all out for this month and the family activities are loads of fun for the kids with trick or treating, hay rides, a dance and haunted house. This year will be our 6th year...

I love history and live nearby (about 2-3 hours) so I get to Gettysburg at least once a year. When I visit, I often stay at this campground (I am a tent camper). Most recently, I came last Memorial Day weekend with 5 other people. This is the first time I went with a large enough group that we needed...

Normally we read reviews first however all the other camp grounds were booked. If you love rude owners that look at you like your robbing the place as soon as you walk in the store, or don't mind sleeping with a million stink bugs this is the place for you! The bathrooms are nasty! We saw a cleaning lady late...

My husband and I were rough camping during a BLUEGRASS FEST. The available laundry facility, bath rooms and showers were clean and well maintained. There was lots of personal space and lots of opportunity to enjoy tennis, basketball, the pool, the fishing, the snacks, and arrangements could be made for bus tour pick up. The staff was friendly and hard...

I'm not sure why this isn't rated higher or even #1. I stayed here on Aug 2nd in a tent. Nice tent sites (and lots available) and clean bathrooms. I have previously stayed at Gettysburg Campground (also nice), but I think I would go back to Granite Hill again --- and next time I'll take my fishing pole (2 lakes)....

We camped here in our pop-up this past weekend and the campground was very nice. The staff was very friendly at our arrival. When we drove around and found our spot, it was close to others and we noticed that there weren't very many others in our section. We called the office and asked if we could move to another...

Have been coming here over 15 years with our own camper. Last 5 years this place has been going down hill fast. It seems that Alcohol now seems to be the theme of this once nice campground along with it tuning from dog friendly into a dog kennel. I have been here 5 times this year already this trip my...
