We came for the day to attend the bluegrass festival. Note: we did not camp or otherwise evaluate the facilities. However, the folks that we ran into there were well organized and very polite and helpful. We forgot chairs and bought some at the camp store. We found the prices for them as well as food and beverages to be... More

We spent the weekend and I was really impressed with the amount of activities for kids. This is our go to campground for over 15 years, but our first with our 8 year old grandson. We spent the whole day on Saturday with tons to do and ended with a movie sitting on the lawn. The campground is very clean... More

Stayed for 3 days, as family we were traveling together we booked 3 sites together on site was so bad they had to move away from us to another site not close to us. Office said they were no closer sites because people were coming in for the ones close to us. They must have been invisible because sites were... More

We camped here father's day weekend. We had a great site, but as we walked the campground, I was happy we were on top of the hill near the pirate ship playground. We noticed the Safari Area looked very unkept. Sites were so over grown! The area by the ball fields, the roads were terrible! I'd be afraid to drive... More

I booked a tent site in a secluded area and once we arrived we sound nothing by dirt and rocks where our tent site was located. My husband even had trouble getting his truck down into the area. We were told when we checked in that there was no one else renting and if we wanted to change our site... More

We stayed here prior to, and during the first 2 days of bike week. Many, if not most, of the campsites are not level. We could not get into the original campsite we were assigned without scrapeing our leveling feet. If we had been able to get in, I don't think I would have had near enough blocks to level... More

Spent 5 days at granite Hill last week. Beautiful setting but that's pretty much where it ends as far as an RV Park. Roads poor, many tree branches too low that could damage RV's. Witnessed an RV have their roof antenna torn off by a low branch. Only a few sites are level and people lined up at the office... More

Very disappointed with this facility. Do not believe the owner and/or manager is on site. And, check in staff very nice, but are young and not experienced campers. Maintenance guy was as helpful as he could be trying to make things work for us. Rather than go into a long, unpleasant recollection of the difficulties, suffice to say we would... More

When you drive into a campground where the entry roads are full of potholes you need to be skeptical. Checking in, we got a site overlooking one field that led to the "lake" and Adventure golf. Sites here were so unlevel that we requested a move. Sent to the back field, we searched for our site for about 10 minutes... More

My husband and I just returned from another relaxing few days at Granite Hill. We have been camping here for years and have never had a bad experience. We keep our trailer in the storage lot and our trailer is pulled on site before our arrival. The grounds guys do a great job. The office staff is incredibly friendly and... More
