This is a B&B with spacious suites and kitchenette facilities, would be ideal for an extended stay. Room was quiet, staff was pleasant, and the in room continental breakfasts provided juice, various muffins and nicely done treats. The location is just off the main square in town and there are numerous restaurants, cafes and shops within easy walking distance. The...

James Getty Hotel is not a usual hotel. Upon entering you'll see a small lobby with check-in desk and a warm large wooden staircase that reeks of the 1800's! Quaint would be an appropriate word to describe the entry. Staff is friendly and will lead you to your suite. (They are all suites.) Your suite will resemble a small apartment...

We had a wonderful stay. Staff was great. Will be back. The room was clean and was quiet. The breakfast muffins were wonderful. Thank you for a great time. The town of Gettysburg is beautiful. This hotel is located in the heart of the town. Perfect backdrop for visiting civil war history sites....

We stayed here for 3 nights in October. The location was wonderful, right in downtown Gettysburg, parking was easy, and it was within walking distance of many attractions. The staff was wonderful, as were the muffins and orange juice we received each morning in our room along with the cookies that we received each evening.

We stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer. Very friendly and helpful staff who brought up fresh milk for us to have with our tea and offered to go home and get a tea pot if we wanted one. A great place to stay.

Bedroom, small kitchen, clean bathroom, nice sofa bed in living room. Very comfy décor. Hotel use to be a hostel and is in great shape for the age of...

The hotel has a homey feeling. Each suite a bedroom, bath, small kitchen, and spacious seating area with additional bedding. The decor is attractive without being showy. (Our room had pretty wallpaper and a white faux iron bed. There were wall lights on each side of the bed.) An in-room continental breakfast of juice, coffee, and two kinds of home-made...

We stayed for two nights at the James Gettys Hotel. We were in the Majestic Suite, their largest suite. The hotel was warm and inviting as were the staff. The hotel is in the heart of the town near all the unique stores and high end restaurants. My wife and I highly recommend this lovely hotel.
