    Nice, practically new (August 2019) hotel in a slightly unusual location behind a shopping center with a supermarket and liquor store. Rooms are large and comfortable. Coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge in room. The bar and restaurant in the lobby are disappointing; the $10 breakfast buffet was especially unremarkable. If you have a car, you can do much better at any diner in the area.
    Thanks Paul, we appreciate you taking the time to review our hotel and that you enjoyed our guest rooms. You are correct that we are very new and were happy to be in such a great location, within walking distance to a large grocery store, high end wine and liquor store as well as a great dine in movie theater! Regarding our restaurant, I am sorry that you did not enjoy your experience. We do offer signature cocktails, craft NJ beer, and delicious American fare. Our breakfast buffet which offers scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, delicious breakfast potatoes and a rotation of options is priced competitively with what you would receive locally. If there was something specific that you feel we could improve upon, please let me know. We do hope to see you again during your next trip!

    Allergic to their "non-feather" Pillows
    I stayed a few nights. When asking for a foam pillow, since I was getting an asthma allergy reaction to their pillows, I was told they didn't have any foam pillows in the hotel. I went out and bought some foam pillows. Upon writing the hotel about the experience, they told me they were feather-free and "hyper allergenic" (probably meant hypoallergenic, but hyper allergenic matches my experience). Based on the other reviews here, the hotel was a little too dusty for my allergies. The pillows felt like feathers so they might have been some feather alternative, but the new pillows helped my allergies.

    Stupid desk staff and no housekeeping
    I made a reservation for 4 nights. They maeeme break into 2. 2 night. Reservations. Then tried to tell me I had to change rooms. F that. Housekeeping never came in 4 days. Front desk has no answers. Plus, a hotel like this should have a free breakfast. Avoid if you can.

Extremely disappointed to say the least. This hotel was one of the least accommodating hotels I have ever sleep at. First, we were there for a wedding and their computer system had “glitched” when we all first got a room, so a week before the wedding we all learned that our stay would literally DOUBLE! They have this “texting service” to use for your needs which is WORTHLESS. We asked them to clean our room twice (once the day before and once the day of) and they just didn’t do it. We had NO clean towels and we went down to the front desk and they said they don’t have clean towels because there are two weddings this weekend (which is NOT our problem). Later that day they proceeded to CALL OUR ROOM to tell us to put our garbage and dirty towels in the hallway so they can give us new towels. It was honestly so disgusting. THEN… we were getting ready in our hotel room and another family tried to get in, come to find out THEY DOUBLE BOOKED OUR ROOM. On another night we came back from the rehearsal dinner and our keys didn’t work. So we went down to the front desk to get new keys then went back up & THE NEW KEYS DIDNT WORK. So we went back down and told them again that our keys didn’t work and they proceeded to get angry with us that we kept coming down for new keys even though this wasn’t our fault. The building looks nice but it is actually in disarray. Our desk in our room was being held up by the chair underneath. The pool is TINY and it’s indoor, but it was cold. This was also unfortunate. Overall, rating this experience a 1/10 for the poor accommodations, poor communication, and poor infrastructure.

Hotel's Favorite
The Cambria is a great stay; very clean, spacious and accommodating. Above all else, every interaction with the staff was enjoyable. I got a call shortly after checking in to see if I needed anything which made a big difference. Specifically, a lady named Kova made my stay. She was so kind and knowledgeable. I left a treasured item in the room and she searched for it immediately. A true pleasure to work with, her heart was in it. This type of customer service isn’t found much anymore. As a business owner for 10 years, I’m always looking for staff of this caliber. There’s also a shop rite and Starbucks just across the street!

This hotel had mixed reviews on TripAdvisor, but I was generally pleasantly surprised about the facilities. I liked the room, microwave, fridge. I had a positive check-in experience, and I utilized the fitness room a few times. BUT - wow - one of the morning front desk agents (Thursday - 8:30 a.m. - June 29) was abysmal. The water machine in the fitness room wasn't working, so I went to the front desk for a bottle of water. She said I had to buy it. I said the refill machine in the fitness room wasn't working. She said I have to wait for maintenance to fix it. Really? As my Uber is arriving? I told her I did not receive my bottles of welcome water (as a choice hotels member) and she looked at me like I was lying. Sad. Begrudgingly, she gave me the water. Was it really worth it for her to make a MASSIVE deal out of it? Hope so. And our room was never cleaned, towels not replaced, waste baskets never emptied, even though I notified HER that morning that housekeeping was needed on Thursday. If I want wet towels and full trash bins, I can stay at my house! Again, sad.

My friend and I arrived after midnight on the evening of our stay. Check in was fairly quick but everything went downhill from there. The door to the room we were given was not locked when we got to it. After a quick inspection to confirm no one was inside, we proceeded to bring in our luggage. I went to use the bathroom and noticed that the body wash container was empty. For context, there were three containers in the shower - one hair shampoo, one conditioner and one body wash (the containers were about 12 oz each). It was apparent that whoever was supposed to clean the room in prep for our arrival did not inspect to ensure there was body wash. The shower rod and the fixture that held the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were very rusty, something that probably could have been cleaned with a home remedy of vinegar and baking soda if not commercial grade cleaners - just further indication that no effort was made to maintain the accommodations. As I walked across the carpet it was evident it had not been vacuumed because crumbs from some colorful orange and green snack were strewn across the floor. Upon pulling back the blanket to inspect the mattresses, hair was revealed on one bed while the scent of someone’s body oils were noticeable on the other bed. When I contacted the front desk, I was told I would need to come downstairs to get body wash and housekeeping was available only upon request. Housekeeping was sent the next morning revealing further distressing news. The housekeeper reveled there were no mattress pads on the beds and that particular room was not supposed to be made available to guests and had not been cleaned in some time. Though I requested a reimbursement for the room charge, the manager was only willing to deduct $50 and give breakfast vouchers. Unacceptable! The room was not in any condition for use on that first night. Although the housekeeper cleaned on the second day, the fact that a filthy room was offered to guests at all, but even more so in a time when we just came out of a multi-year pandemic is an atrocity!

below is my email to a manager during the check out and no one responding : Good morning Trying just to report my experience during the last two days staying in yr hotel ; no one informed me during the check in that i need to schedule an appointment to let the house keeping showing up to my room and do basic things ; In fact no one show up and no one can help someone need towels for getting shower , the shower gel dispenser was empty : A trash for a room got 4 family members ( includes two 5 years old kids) need to get picked up . In this morning before i am checking out , trying to get extra towel to getting shower before i heading back to Maryland ; the front desk telling me need to wait after 11 am . First of all , its not my problem that the front desk @ 9:30 pm yesterday ; telling me that she working by her self . Actually this is my second reservation in yr hotel after a good experience that i got on my first experience back on Sep. 22 2022 visit ; i am really frustrated this time; also after i replying the text that you sending me regarding my experience and feed back ; no one got back to me , Trying to find a manger to report them this morning ,no one in available .

Newer, clean hotel. Common areas appointed as expected at the price point. The front desk worked with us to move from a 2 room suite with 1 bath to 2 connecting rooms which was better for our family of 4 including 2 teen boys - and cheaper! All of the rooms are HUGE, I've never stayed in larger rooms. They boy's room had 2 double beds and a L shaped sofa. Our room was a king with a L shaped sofa. One big missing component were dressers or racks to put your suitcase on. We used the couch ottoman and another bench. Odd. One Washer/dryer on the first floor, laundry detergent was sold at the Sundry store. About $2.00 for a wash/dry. Bring quarters.

The helpfulness of the guest services staff was the best. They printed out maps for our sightseeing, helped us find transportation when we were in an auto accident, and allowed us to stay past check out time.

Pros: Hotel room was clean. Cons: Service was awful. Check in took forever. No info was given on Wi-Fi or general amenities. Tried to order food to take back to my room, but no one was at the dining area and the front desk was understaffed and overwhelmed. Floors were paper thin. The people above me sounded like elephants, as I am sure I did to anyone below me. Why pay for an unnecessarily stressful experience? There are more professionally managed properties within a stone’s throw of this one.
