This photo was taken at a very small bridal shower thrown at the Cambria Hotel on Saturday March 14th, 2020. 48 hours earlier on Thursday March 12th local officials banned gatherings of 500 people or more in the NYC area. By Friday March 13th the bridal party and the rest of the world were all grappling with the truth about the CORONAVIRUS : it is here and we'd better be careful! We told our group of 20 to stay home if they were sick or a round anyone who was sick. A nurse from among us greeted us at the hotel with a thermometer to take our temperature and send us to the sink to wash our hands. No one was allowed with a fever or unwashed hands. She taught us how important hand washing is and how to protect each other, especially the elderly from the CORONAVIRUS. This was the last time any of us would meet in a group for a long, long time. Thank you Cambria Hotel for allowing us to shower our friend Hope with love and for allowing us to be showered with vital instruction from that nurse about how to keep each other safe!

Tina, it was our pleasure to host you and your friends/family during this time. This is certainly a tough time for all and the ability to help others has never been more important or needed. We look forward to being here for you and your family again once your plans have been rescheduled.

This was my third stay and I am still amazed by the staff, attention to detail, cleanliness, and the decor. On two occasions, I was helped by Alex. The first time, I needed an iron and Alex located and iron and brought it to my room in record time The second time, Alex saw me standing at the restaurant counter waiting on the bartender to provide me a menu. Knowing the bar was unexpectedly short-staffed for the evening, Alex left the front desk, came over to the bar, and provided me a menu. The majority of employees in a customer service role may not have been concerned, but Alex has an extraordinary sense of awareness and responded with exceptional service. The Cambria at West Orange is my new favorite place to stay!

I highly recommend this hotel. The management and staff were very helpful. The rooms are bigger then usual, so we had place for our children. We used the meeting room for the entire time, it's very nice and accommodating. The Hotel let us use their fridge to store our items. We will definitely do this again.

This has been my go to hotel when I visit the area for business. This last trip was almost a disaster. I require breathing equipment at night (oxygen/vent etc.) in order for me to get through the day. Three times my room lost power in the middle of the night and the night counter attendant Khalid was quick to get me to another room so I could quickly remedy my medical needs. He was quick, responsive and kind. It’s folks like this that keeps businesses and it’s customers alive! Thank you Khalid!
