The hotel is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and kind. Unfortunately, all of that was overshadowed by a terrible breakfast experience. We ordered breakfast in the room as part of our preparing for a meeting and wanting to fuel up for a long day. The food that was delivered was only good for a trash bin (no exaggeration). Soggy potatoes with look and smell that turned our stomachs, burned sausages that were so dried from the heat that you could use them as a hummer and terrible eggs. I did let the front desk know of this unfortunate experience and no response, just 'oh, I am sorry'. Very disappointed and feel cheated. Lastly, as we arrived, none oriented us on the hotel policies, nor offered any information beyond responding to questions we asked. Never again will we stay there - waste of money!

We were in Philadelphia for medical reasons and were not particularly excited about staying in the area. Boy were we wrong! The Rittenhouse Hotel was lovely and the area is loaded with great restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. We felt safe in the area and definitely plan on returning to Rittenhouse Hotel.

My first visit to Philadelphia did not disappoint. I've heard of Rittenhouse through colleagues and decided to give it a try. To say the property is impressive is definitely an understatement. It screams class and elegance. The staff was attentive, kind, and courtesy. Quentin and Ashley were amazing. Everything was ran very smoothly. Rittenhouse is in a prime location especially for tourists. Bars, philly steaks, "rocky steps", liberty bell....all within walking distance.

While only 20 people were in the hotel while we were there, the staff skimps on nothing. Awesome room service lunch when we arrived, umbrellas to keep us dry, and the restaurant staff went out of their way to set up a safe dinner spot. Excellent location.
