If you are looking for a five star experience, this is the perfect place to stay when visiting Philadelphia. We spent 3 nights here on our Memorial Day weekend getaway. There is so much to see and eat in this beautiful city, and staying at The Rittenhouse made for unforgettable happy memories.  This hotel is located hands down in the best part of the city. Rittenhouse Square has luxury shopping and dining and a gorgeous park. I loved that the building is nestled in away from the busiest streets. And it is walking distance from so many famous downtown attractions. I love an urban hike, and appreciated being able to walk to every place on my tourist list. (We visited the Barnes Foundation, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Eastern State Penitentiary, Love Park, Center City, Jewelers Row, Reading Terminal Market, the historic area with Independence Hall the Liberty Bell, and Spruce Street Harbor Park). The rooms are spotless, very spacious, especially in comparison to other hotels we considered, and elegantly decorated, including modern fixtures in the bathroom. The beds and bathrobes are so comfortable. We enjoyed casting our devices to the TV to relax at the end of the day. And after a good night's rest, the in room dining breakfast was a great start to our day.  The lobby and common areas have a beautiful ambiance, and we enjoyed live music in the evenings in the library bar.  Tips: join the LHW Leaders Club for extra perks with your reservation. Ask for a park view from your room to enjoy the calming Rittenhouse Park from your windows. Compliments to the attentive, kind and accommodating staff, all of whom greeted us and provided services with a smile. Thank you to Danielle and Ashley who were at the front desk assisting with check in, check out and answers to all our questions. We were also delighted to find chocolate covered strawberries waiting in our room for us on arrival, a thoughtful touch to help us celebrate a special occasion that we had informed the staff. Thank you to Eric who brought our in room dining and took the time to ask if we made it out to the specific destinations we previous mentioned that we wanted to see. The valet and front door team were very kind as well, making us feel at home, welcoming us back and asking how our outings were every day.  Thank you to everyone at The Rittenhouse for a memorable stay. I can't wait to return and try the spa this time!

We cannot wait to welcome you back! Thank you for taking the time to write such a complete and thoughtful review of your stay with us earlier this summer. Our location, room size and amenities are among the best you may find at any top tier hotel but the service you experienced and noted is truly our strong suit. I will certainly share your kind words with our entire team.

While this roughly a 20+ story highrise, only the first 9 floors are the hotel. The remaining parts above are residences. We were on the 8th floor, with a park view room. The view was great (see photo). The room was very nice, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom well equipped and modern. Concierge (Sean) was very helpful with dinner reservations. Front desk staff was also very pleasant. The only disappointment was their restaurant, LaCroix. We had a Sunday breakfast there (note, not a brunch buffet, just a la carte). The offerings were limited and decent, the staff was attentive, but the ambiance and food lacked the feel of what you'd expect at a hotel of this level. Still, I'd definitely recommend the hotel ... just dine out for breakfast.

Thank you Ron. Your review and thoughtful points are well taken. As we continue to ramp up with additional staff and services, Lacroix and our other offerings will rival what they were pre-Covid and hopefully exceed expectations. We appreciate your business and constructive comments in the meantime.

We had a great stay during a family visit in Philadelphia. I would like to especially commend June at the front desk who was very helpful with our dinner plans and with getting our tv issues rectified , alas but couldn’t get the Phillies game on the tube. Oh well But she did try her best to bring in the broadcast Overall a great hotel in a great city

Thank you for staying with us! I look forward to sharing your review with June, who has recently been promoted to Front Office Manager due to her dedication to hospitality and guests such as you. Your point is well taken on the availability of local sports teams on our in room programming. We will look into this and correct immediately. Looking forward to welcoming you back again sometime soon!

My four night stay at the Rittenhouse was absolutely wonderful! I can't say enough about how welcoming and helpful the staff was during my stay. I found this hotel to be luxurious without being pretentious. Every amenity you could imagine is found at this hotel, but the staff was the high point for me. Every single person I met at the desk was sincerely friendly and could answer all my questions. Another perk is the proximity to the park across the street and countless restaurants within walking distance. I come to Philadelphia a few times a year but have never stayed at the Rittenhouse until now. I decided to treat myself this year as I am celebrating retirement from a 41 year teaching career. This was supposed to be a once in a lifetime treat, but I'm not sure I can stay anywhere else after experiencing the Rittenhouse! Sometimes you do get what you pay for! Highly recommended!!
