Did not stay there overnight but we did go there for their Sunday brunch and it was terrific. Wait staff were great and very professional. Very expensive but the experience was worthwhile . $120 per person was rather steep. We were given a gift card by our adult children which made it affordable for us. My wife and I had a great time, food was presented very professionally. Valet parking cost $27 for 2 hours. Would like to return if someone else gives a gift card.
The Rittenhouse was on-point in every way possible: from arrival to check-in, the room was HUGE and stunningly appointed, the library bar was elegant and delicious. The location is a short walk to EVERYTHING. Do not hesitate to stay here! xx
On March 6 went to my annual Philadelphia flower show hat a wonderful show. For accommodations I stayed at The Rittenhouse hotel I have been staying at this crown jewel for 31 years. The spa treatments were tremendous had a facial and a manicure and pedicure. For dinner went to the library bar had steak very delicious only minor complaint was the seating was not comfortable buy no big deal. breakfast was very good service was great with tranquil views of rittenhouse square
Our experience in the hotel was absolutely perfect. Maria and Victor at the the door were over and above with the service. Ruben who brought us out breakfast in the morning was a legend! In his brief stop in to bring us food, he made us feel like family immediately. If you want to experience what true hospitality is….go to Ritten House Hotel. You’ll never want to do a VRBO ever again.
I travel for business in the luxury hospitality industry, and the Rittenhouse Hotel has some of the largest, most classically beautiful rooms I've ever experienced. The hotel is quiet, calming, and yet right in the middle of the hustle and bustle that one would expect in downtown Philly. The staff was over-the-top friendly, and the food was excellent!
This is a five star hotel from the accommodation to the food to the services provided by the staff. If you are looking for a comfortable, very clean and safe hotel to stay at in Philadelphia this is the one. You will not be disappointed. It is close to some wonderful Resturant and the staff are very helpful in making suggestions. Housekeeping does a wonderful job and the rooms are very clean.
Absolutely amazing hotel. Gorgeous building and rooms. Everyone here goes above and beyond to make sure you have a perfect stay and have everything you need. Maria the concierge knew that it was my birthday and had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting in the room! So thoughtful and sweet. Victor another team member also was always so welcoming whenever we came in or out and got us an umbrella because he knew it might rain later (which it did!). I also forgot to write our name and room number on the room service order for breakfast in the morning, but they managed to figure out it was ours and got us the breakfast we ordered. Another team member Rueben who brought our breakfast up even brought us some congratulatory fruit and drinks when we shared some good news we just found out with him. I could go on even more about how wonderful everything was. Highly recommend for a beautiful stay!…
Stayed at The Rittenhouse Hotel with my adult children and had a wonderful experience. Rented 3 rooms, which they placed on the same floor next to each other. Each room was large and well maintained. Very clean with luxury bedding and towels. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even remembering my name each day as I came and went from the hotel. We ate breakfast each morning in the hotel over looking Rittenhouse Square. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was professional and attentive. We also used the work out facilities and the bar at night. We were very pleased with all of the facilities. I have stayed at The Ritz Carlton on my past trips to Philly and while The Rittenhouse is a bit more money, it was worth it.
I've been fortunate to stay at The Rittenhouse Hotel on several occasions when visiting Philadelphia, including two times in the past month. From the moment you arrive to valet your car you're taken care of by the wonderfully gracious team. The hotel itself is old-school elegant, but it's the team that really makes the magic happen. I'm moving to Philadelphia in the fall and look forward to an annual staycation (if not more!) to enjoy the elevated hospitality and quality property.
My short trip to Philadelphia was excellent, partly because of the amazing hotel I stayed at, and I thank everyone at The Rittenhouse for making my stay so memorable. Firstly, the hotel’s location is amazing, Rittenhouse Square is peaceful but central, and there was no noise from the street whatsoever during our stay. Furthermore, it is only about a 10 minute walk to the Philadelphia City Hall. The staff were great in assisting with all our needs, very knowledgeable about the city, and had good recommendations for places to eat and visit. The room was very spacious and the furniture and bed were comfortable. The bathroom was modern and had a great shower, separate from the bathtub. The hotel has a wide variety of facilities, including a spa with two saunas and two steam rooms, a fitness centre, and a swimming pool, all of which are amazing and a highlight of the hotel, a great place to relax after a long day of exploring the city. I find The Rittenhouse Hotel to be one of the best places to stay in Philly, and I recommend it especially to those who want a worry-free luxurious stay.
