On a business trip, cannot have a reasonable hotel rate, i chose an alternate, a b&b. This place is charming oldhouse, spacious suite bedroom and kitchen all furnished with lovely antiques (suite Victorine). Secret code for the front door and your room, a nice breakfast kit so you can make your own toast and coffee. Wifi works ok. Quiet charming... More

This property is located in 10th Street in the midst of other regular residences. It is not too far from downtown, even if shops are not adjacent, but close by. You need to press the button at the door with the name of the hotel to call the bell. Dan, who owns the place would reply on the door phone.... More

This place is great. Seamless check-in/-out via email and key codes. Continental breakfast avaialable in room. Room included full kitchen, full bath, living room and bedroom. Ambience was pleasant and akin to a summer cottage. Great location in a quit, residential area close to the downtown core and within walking distance of train stations and several bus stops. Our third visit. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Stayed in Evening Star, LOVE that room. Its up several stories but worth every step. Our room was very clean, well stocked. Atmosphere is quiet, relaxing. We don't even consider staying anywhere else. ONCE AGAIN, please READ all info about how they run this B&B. You are not doted on like an... More

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. Dan & Barbara, your hosts, are warm, helpful and amazing people. You can have nice conversations with them, ask them for advice and anything else that makes your stay even more pleasurable. The BnB is so unique in its design and a great experience. The rooms are... More

I'm glad I have a sense of humor and don't mind where I sleep as long as it is clean and has a/c. Everything else is an amenity. Given my easy to please nature this establishment met all my requirements. Then why the two round circle review? The room was in the attic of a three story row house. As... More

NO JOKE INTENDED. Thank you for your sense of humor and complementing on our air conditioning and most of all the cleanness of the Philadelphia Bella Vista BNB. Our hard working housekeeping staff will greatly appreciate the compliment. This was a unique place to stay. The building is older but was furnished with really unique furniture. The room we had had peeling paint and paper boarder on the wall. The bed was broken on the headboard with exposed nails. The pictures in the brochure are misleading. The room was straightened daily. The breakfast consisted of bread, cinnamon bread... More

Me and a friend had booked a weekend (from Toronto!) over in Bella Vista over a standard hotel, hoping for an eclectic & interesting experience ... Turns out it's barely better than a hostel and costs 5x as much. There's no personal Breakfast experience (all continental), no personality at all (didn't see a single person while we were there), terrible... More

If you want to stay somewhere unique and funky, not for your conventional traveler, this is the place. The only reason I don't give it a five is because I wouldn't recommend it to people who want a predictable luxury experience. But for me personally it was a 5. A huge room filled with Americana antiques and portraits attached to... More

we stayed in the sunset room. It was terrible..Immediately after entering the room, I was struck by these cheap horrible decor. Looking up the ceiling, the cutoff ceiling tells you this room is half of an original room. It has a weird proportion, more like a tiny square room. The closely spaced wall paired with a high ceiling generates a... More

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay.
