My husband and I came here over President's Day weekend to spend a romantic night in the city. This was a perfect place for a little getaway. We got a free drink in the restaurant next door, which was a nice touch. We opted not to eat breakfast there because it was only pastry and we wanted something more substantial.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst touring the area. We were greeted by a very helpful lady who sorted us out with car parking and showed us to our rooms ( two couples ). The hotel is ideally located in the historic district - the Liberty Bell etc a mere five minute walk away. The rooms were large and nicely... More

This is a small and elegant hotel very conveniently situated for visiting the Independence Hall and Liberty Bell area of the city. Our room (301) was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little dated, but clean and perfectly adequate. There is a lovely courtyard restaurant for drinks and evening meals, which we... More

We stayed for three days in room 501. The receptionists were sociable and courteous, The maids were nearly invisible yet did always did a good job. Parking is right across the street in a parking garage. The hotel will discount your parking fee. The courtyard hosted a few gatherings but were not noisy. There were no 3am loiterers and fistfights... More

We stayed one night in this hotel and really enjoyed it. Nice staff, comfortable room, complimentary breakfast (simple but very good quality). Would definitely stay there again ! Only one small thing : there was no closed room for our luggages as we arrived a bit early and the room was not ready yet. Therefore, they were stored behind the... More

We had our daughter's wedding here last weekend. The place was stunning. The staff were excellent. A special shout out to Jeanette and her staff and Lenka. They pulled it all together. The hotel is lovely and the location couldn't be better. I highly recommend it to anyone coming to visit Philadelphia. So much nicer then staying in a large... More

We stayed at the Morris House for 1 night. We had 4 couples (all family members) in four different rooms. My wife and I stayed in Room 201. This is a large room on the second floor of the main house. Beautifully appointed, very comfortable bed and plenty of storage. One brother-in-law and his wife were in Room 202, right... More

We stayed at the Morris House Hotel for three nights at the beginning of June and thought it was great! It has a very quaint, historic feeling with all the modern conveniences. The room was larger than expected...it felt like a mini apartment. The staff members are super nice and even called prior to arrival to be sure the room... More

Split our anniversary weekend in Philly by first staying here and then staying in one of the "five stars" over in Rittenhouse. If we did it again, we'd stay here the whole time. Friendly staff, beautiful apartment-style accommodations, great restaurant and open area. Close to everything and yet tucked enough that you can feel away from the bustle in the... More

This hotel is comfortable and cozy with a very helpful staff and delicious (warm) cookies and tea in the afternoon, just when a pick-me-up is needed. The location in center city makes for easy walking to many attractions and shopping, and public transit is also easily accessible. There is NO noise in the rooms (at least mine on the third... More
