What a wonderful hidden gem....totally affordable, beautiful and amazingly hospitable..Close to many nice little restaurants. Very safe area with parking right across the street. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel that feels like a bed and breakfasts.

We stayed here over the weekend for a wedding. Beautiful property in downtown Phil. Self park across the street. Friendly staff, cozy sitting areas and dining area, with fireplaces. Room was large and with good amenities, clean and comfortable. Many attractions within walking distance.

For our 20th Anniversary we were looking for something special. The Morris House Hotel fit the bill. Very historical and loaded with character & charm. Also, a great value & in a convenient location. Breakfast was included & 4 PM complimentary glass of wine. There's a lovely sitting room with a fireplace (light of course). We stayed in the winter...

Stayed here for 5 nights at Christmas. Staff very friendly and welcome no and helped carry our luggage to second floor room. Katerina was especially helpful. Our room was very clean and well furnished but very small for the price. The sitting area downstairs was beautifully decorated and a cozy place to read in front of the gas fireplace. The...

The Morris House is a beautifully-restored and maintained Eighteenth-Century house, and adapted for use as a hotel with all the modern amenities. The public rooms are all faithful to the period, while the overnight rooms are an eclectic blend of old and new. All in all, it's charming, and the M restaurant that is a few feet away functions both...

I was here for a 4-day meeting. My room was really nice and I loved both the setting and the amenities. I had been forewarned that there was no elevator, but by day 3 with my room on third floor, I began to be sorry that it was a 1787 restoration. That being said, all of the other modernities were...

We got to the hotel by 11AM. They told us to leave the luggage downstairs and we could go back at night that everything would be taken care off. We arrived at night and our luggage was still downstairs. Breakfast had cold coffee and I was invited to have it in the microwave. And all the used dishes took time...

Great situation, just off Walnut Street and Washington Square, ideal for visiting Liberty Bell and surrounding attractions. An easy walk, with luggage, from the Greyhound Station and an inexpensive taxi ride from 30th St Station. Our (first floor double) room was cosy, clean and comfortable. It seemed very quiet, considering the proximity to busy streets. It was quite cool weather...

Had a great time in Philly with my mom. Room was gorgeous but disappointed in the breakfast. We thought we were getting a bed and breakfast. Instead we got a basic hotel continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and inviting. Also didnt realize we would have to pay for parking

We were on a short, sharp stay and were advised to choose the Morris House Hotel. It was expensive for what we needed but then that seemed to be the going rate for all similar hotels. The welcome was pleasant, the room was nice and big and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a continental style. The best part was...
