Location is diagonally across the street from Independence Hall and many rooms have views onto the park. You expect something boutique/edgy from Kimpton and this hotel delivers. From the Stratus lounge on the rooftop to the room designs, you get something very different. Room

They do monitor noise but when you check in, ask to be on the 7th floor or below. There is a club in the building and I had friends on the 9th and 10th floors and they had some noise issues. The hotel immediately addressed the issues but they did have to call.

There were pets in the lobby, the elevators and in rooms on our floor. I didn't see any in the restaurant. Depending on the severity of your allergies, this might not be the hotel for you!
