This was our second time staying at the Monaco. It is our favorite Philly hotel! Paige was AMAZING! Last stay we arrived late due to airline delays and did not get the room we booked... this time Paige moved us to a wonderful corner room. We love the soaking tub with views of Independence Hall. Such a great bathroom!!! Beautiful room.. great staff... we will surely be back!

Hotel's Favorite
Excellent staff and comfortable hotel Just checked out of the Monaco and had a lovely one night stay. Although carpets are a bit threadbare and the hotel could use a “freshening up” beds were so comfy, room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. Rochid at the front desk made the difference between a nice stay and my rating if 5….exceptional. It’s rare to meet employees in the hotel business these days who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and appreciated…. Rochid did just that. And Gregory at the bell desk was also so very helpful and welcoming. The attitude of such staff should be recognized and encouraged as it is a rare find these days and makes all the difference.

Every time you step outside this hotel and realize you’re kitty-corner to Independence Hall with all that history it leaves you shaking your head at how close you are to everything you came to see (well if you came there for the reasons we did). We walked to nearly everything … with the exception of taking an Uber to the Museum of Art but even then we walked back from there so we could take in several other sights along the way. We were able to enjoy breakfast at the hotel restaurant one morning (it’s closed on Sundays) and it was really good. If I was going to mark the hotel down it’s that our room was the floor below the top floor club … let’s just say the floors do not provide the best sound insulation. It didn’t go crazy late; but as a sightseer looking to get an early start every day (and not as young as I used to be lol) it was a little annoying … but not something that would keep me from staying there again.

An amazing stay. You not only get what you pay for, you get more! Roshid sets the bar for concierge service, valets were on point with my car, opening doors and the check-in was easy and welcoming. Treat yourself, you deserve Hotel Monaco treatment! You’re worth it.

Great hotel as long as you avoid floors 9 and 10. Floor 10 is a dance club whose music shook our room until 2 am Friday and Saturday. It was impossible to sleep in. When we mentioned it to the staff Saturday morning they quickly took $400 off the bill which indicates they know those rooms are incredibly loud. Play it safe and make sure you get an odd numbered room on those floors or avoid them all together.

The hotel receptionist. Paige was extremely helpful in recommending local restaurant suggestions. Also where to visit attractions in the area. We were just in town for a family friends wedding and she made it all better along with the entire staff at the hotel Kimpton Monaco. Would highly recommend it. The room we had with the Japanese soaking tub was amazing!

The hotel was absolutely stunning - they did not forget one corner when it came to the decor! The art tells a story as well. The room was EXTREMELY Spacious and comfortable for the three of us. The location is central with many of Philly's top attractions literally steps away. The gym was great. The valet parking could use a few more attendants. Overall, a great short stay - would stay again!

As usual my husband & I had an amazing experience. We, the bridal party & some family guests also stayed at The Hotel Monaco to attend my daughter’s wedding that was held nearby @ The Moshulu. Our absolute favorite Lead Concierge Roshid took great care of our party. I am never disappointed by the professionalism & top notch customer service that is provided. He always makes us feel special & at home. Roshid is a great asset not only to the Monaco but to the IHG brand as a whole. Until the next time….
