We reserved a corner suite for the night for my birthday. The location of this hotel was great! We walked to Spruce Street Harbor Park during the day. The room was fantastic, spacious, and Roshid made sure I had a few surprises in the room as well. The decor was beautiful! We also took advantage of the rooftop bar Stratus at the end of the evening, which was a blast. Thank you! I will definitely be staying here again.

I was struck by the decor of this hotel from the moment I walked in the door! Bold designs, innovative light fixtures, bright colors, and a welcome change of pace from most hotel rooms. I have stayed in many different hotels, but I really enjoyed the decor in this hotel. Instead of the boring, neutral colors on the walls, and institutional furniture, I truly felt like I was in a tastefully decorated apartment! In addition to the room, I found the staff to be very cordial and the location to be a plus in terms of convenience to the Independence Park area. Truly enjoyable stay!

The concierge team was genuinely warm, extremely helpful and accommodating. They made our anniversary stay special by surprising us with a bottle of wine and chocolate treats. (Thank you Roshid! and team) Anything extra we needed, like towels, they provided right away. We were one minute before they closed down breakfast, and Shannon, our server, in the restaurant made and exception and served us the most delicious breakfast! The only complaint I had was the mattress seemed to have a divot in one spot so our first night was rough, but they did offer to change our room. They perhaps need to rotate/flip or change their mattresses more often. Other than that, an amazing place to stay with people and service to match.

I had to come into town to see my ocular oncologist and was very nervous. I checked in the night before, and a lovely handwritten note with a cheese tray was delivered to my room. Roshid wrote and told me that he hoped my appointment went well and that he was sending me good vibes. When my appointment the next morning DID go well, he was so happy for me and worked with me to get me home to NY that day, even though my reservation was for that night as well. These are the kind of human touches that make me sure that I will keep using the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia for future visits in future years.

Our son moved to Philly about 2 years ago so we are frequently visiting. The Kimpton Monaco is alway where we stay. We love having breakfast in the restaurant as well as a drink at the bar in the evening. The rooms are alway clean and the decor is really cool. The gym faces out over Independence Hall which makes it nice to work out. The coffee in the morning and Happy Hour at night are always great. Best of all is the exceptional service. From remembering your name to texting you to see if anything else can be done for you, they really make you feel special. I will be back soon!
