Fantastic location! Could not ask for a better location across from City hall and blocks from China Town and numerous business areas of Philadelphia. The hotel rooms are spacious and breakfast wonderful!

The hotel has about the best location possible in the city, literally across the street from city hall. Philly is spread out enough that there is no 1 single location for all possible attractions, but downtown is pretty close and a good start. The hotel is obviously in a very old building, however the interior was nice, as with all...

Right across the street, in fact. Awesome location downtown. Very friendly staff. Easy access to taxis, local restaurants, not far from museums. The view of City Hall is nice, but at night make sure you have a room in which you can close the drapes very tightly. Otherwise the lights could keep light sleepers awake. Cannot say enough about how...

The Residence Inn was nice, but our room was so unbearably hot and stuffy that it was hard to sleep. Moreover, the toilet wasn't flushing properly. Nevertheless, the location is unbeatable, so I would still consider staying there as long as I got a different room.

The staff are the best part of this hotel. The rooms are comfortable, clean, big (suites), up to date enough, have decent amenities. They have a free buffet breakfast which is good if you are an early riser, on vacation you tend to prefer to sleep in. Prices are reasonable compared to other hotels in a downtown location, specials are...

It's a Marriott, which means no surprises. Clean, comfortable room. Everything worked, except for issues we had with the TV. They responded promptly, came up with a temporary fix, and I could deal with it after that. Room was cleaned nicely each day. Breakfast buffet was the usual fare. Not great sausage, but excellent scrambled eggs. Front desk staff was...

We stayed here over christmas as wented to have a suite with full kitchen. This is a great place, nice cozy rooms, good kitchen and great staff. The best part of this place is location, when you exit hotel you are oposite of city hall which is just a cross the street of hotel.

This hotel met all my needs --- great location - could walk everywhere; good price - affordable on a budget; included breakfast -- yes, a hot one that included a waffle stand etc; fully equipped room with a kitchen and sitting area; AND a view out my window of City Hall. I couldn't have asked for more. Special thanks to...

I usually stay at other brands in the Marriott chain - typically Marquis. However, this stay may have changed my mind about this type of suite. I really liked the space and partially separated bedroom and the excellent TV of this hotel. I didn't particularly like the small lobby and the street location however. The bed was very good and...
