This hotel was perfect for our large group for a weekend wedding held in a downtown church and downtown wedding venue. We were made to feel comfortable and the location was great for our guests that wanted to make a long weekend to visit the sights of Philadelphia. The staff was attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable and price... More

This is a well managed property. It is a Residence Inn but is way more luxurious than most Residence Inns. It cost more as well. Great location, very nice rooms, fast service and overall great experience.

At first when we got there I thought I would be writing a not so good review. But it turned out okay in the end. We arrived later then we had planned do to flight delays. When I booked the room I asked for a King with a view. We got checked in and up to our room we go... More

This was our second stay in a month at this property. As a Platinum with Marriott Rewards, I did get a slight upgrade both stays, but neither time did we get a room with a great view. It was always in the back of the hotel. In fact, the second stay (which was only one night) had us in a... More

I stayed at the Residence Inn recently following a trip to Cincinnati. This was an unplanned trip and I had to stay at a hotel since my trip home would not have gone well due to the weather and the fact that my car has rear-wheel drive. My wife called the Residence Inn for me and she was able to... More

A well-run hotel in a great location. Fairly typical RI, but everything was done right. We had two one-bedroom suites, same price, same floor, but one was much larger than the other. Typical breakfast fare, but the quality of the food was a cut above the usual. 5 minute walk to Reading Terminal, 10 to Chinatown. If you are lucky,... More

Stayed with the family (5 people) for 3 days between Xmas and New Years. We had a one bedroom suite which was a little smaller than other Residence Inns, but was clean and comfortable, and the location could not be beat, walking distance from the Reading Market, museums, and Independence Hall areas. The breakfast was well stocked and the staff... More

Room was small, but comfortable with small kitchen with what we needed to cook. The highlight was the morning breakfast. It was well organized, not crowded, had better choice of food than the average complementary breakfast. Staff was helpful and cleared our plates while we finished our coffee. Staying right in downtown, was surprised that the city noise was not... More

I am a big fan of the residence inn hotels, but this is by far my least favorite. I knew going in that there is no self parking and that you have to valet ($51/day). I stayed here for a week and the first two days it took 10 minutes to get my car from valet. On days 3, 4,... More

Dear Gtsh0pp3r, Thanks for taking the time in letting us know how you're stay went. There is plenty of self parking directly behind the hotel if you don't want the valet service. Like most hotels in the city we don't have our own parking facility. With the valet service we do ask for a minimum of 30 minutes to retrieve... More

We reserved the room the week of New Year's Day. Little did we know the hotel islocated in the direct route of the biggest parade of the year in Philadelphia. This would have been influential in our decision to come visit on New Year's Day weekend. There was absolutely no way to get close to the hotel location, according to... More

Dear Kellia, Thanks for your comments regarding your stay New Year's Day Weekend. This is the city's annual New Year's Day Mummers Parade that goes on from 7am till around mid-afternoon. We have numerous parades, marathons, and other major events and I'm sorry that you felt you weren't informed. Like in all situations there sometimes is always a better when... More
