Sound levels: great - quiet! Hardware: great - updated interiors Location: central Service: meh - good in-person, not the best over email Value: meh - good hotel, but pricey for what it is Tips: there's a coffee shop across the street - we didn't try it but there was consistently a line in the mornings, so it must be good! There's a hotel you have to go up just to get to the lobby. The hotel seemed like a good venue for hosting events.

A nice business hotel - the rooms are very quiet and clean with upscale linens/toiletries. The location is a bit odd, it's inside the Liberty Place shops - there's an entrance from the 2nd level of the shops and an entrance from the street as well, but the street entrance is not into a lobby, it's into the valet parking area and then an elevator up to the front desk check-in area, where there's a small sitting area/bar there as well. I was there for work, so didn't do anything social but for those interested, it's not really a happening hotel lobby bar like some similar upscale hotels have (again, probably due to the odd shop adjacent location).

Outstanding is the word that comes to mind. There are so many to applaud for their gracious hospitality. Mant thanks to Rebecca Donahue (Events), Rachel Pearson (Front Services), Kevin Burnett and Tyra Letcher (Front Desk), and Xyeeta and Ana (Lea Restaurant). They, and many others, made my experience 5-Star at a first-class hotel. All of these accolades could not have been made possible without the leadership of Matt Nelson, their General Manager who, I met during my stay. Thank you, Matt and the team, of The Westin Philadelphia.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was updated, clean and comfortable. We came in at a very busy time and the valet was overwhelmed but still very friendly. The location is perfect next to many nice restaurants and shops. Will stay again.

The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly, valet parking person was very nice and gave us tips in where to find food, water and a pharmacy in walking distance. The room was big, and clean, the King bed's mattress was not as comfy as I expe ted, but it made up in comfy pillows. There amenities like wine, snacks and water that were very expensive so we bought our own instead. By the end of the night we were exhausted and it was very quiet. Check out was simple, front door person very pleasant.

I truly enjoy staying at the Westin in general but the Westin Philadelphia was a perfect stay. Easy check-in process and superb customer service all around! The representative was welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was spacious and clean. I love that you can adjust the lighting settings in the room. The beds and pillows at the Westin are always super comfortable! Only thing I recommend is having more options on the late night room service menu.

I loved the modern decor, friendly staff, generous sized rooms (real bathroom doors too!), and restaurant setup in this hotel. Only dislike, a glass of average Sauv Blanc was $16 (um yikes)! Overall great work stay.

I have to start by saying THANK YOU to DeVaughn Milligan, who greeted me at the front desk and throughout my stay, showed the highest level of hospitality, professionalism, patience and customer service. When I arrived, to check in, I was in a bit of disarray - I didn't have a reservation, I was flustered from an incident from a nearby hotel and at the same time I was concerned for a family member at home. I couldn't even get my words out fluently when I came to the front desk. Mr. Milligan did not rush me or try to finish my sentences. He listened patiently, helped me secure a reservation, helped me understand what to do if I had to leave early (because a possible situation at home) and assured me that my stay would be comfortable as he saw that I was in a discomforted state. And he was correct. Upon entering the room, I literally exhaled. I was on the 14th floor (of 15). The room temperature was comfortable upon entry and I did not need to adjust it all weekend, the room & bathroom was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed restorative mid day naps and night time sleeps. The gym was well equipped and quiet with ample sanitizing supplies, a water machine and cold and dry towels. I was glad for a well equipped gym because it truly helped me decompress over the weekend. In addition to Mr. Milligan's service, the entire front desk team and valet team were courteous, personable, kind and thoughtful. I enjoyed chatting with them on my way in and out. They made it a point to ask how I was and reiterated for me to let them know if there was anything I needed. People say that all the time and you wonder if it is true. I must say that the staff I interacted with between March 9-12, 2023, truly meant it, as I did ask for recommendations of restaurants, support with my baggage, and other odds and ends. I am sorry I did not get their cards so I could list them by name. In addition to Mr. Milligan, there were three Black/African American men on the valet team and two BlackAfrican American women on the front desk team. As a Black/African American woman myself, I want to share that I was coming in and out of the hotel during both early morning and late night hours and I felt especially safe and cared for as I was greeted by the men serving in the valet and by the front desk staff as I passed through the check in area daily. I do not take this for granted during times when being Black and being a woman does not always invite comfort but I was nothing but comfortable during my stay and with the staff on duty. The best kept hotel would not rate high if the spirit and attitude of the people working there was not positive. The combination of quality accommodations plus genuine caring service truly helped turn a challenging weekend into an uplifting one. For this, I am thankful.

My husband and I just stayed at The Westin Philadelphia. It was an fabulous experience and I will absolutely stay there again. Why? Not just because it's a convenient location for visiting the museums, but, wow, the customer service was exceptional. At the front desk, Mr. Milligan, was welcoming, personable and knowledgable about the surrounding area. I like smilers and he was always smiling; one of those people with a happy heart. He made us feel happy to be there. My only criticism about our stay was the bed sheets were stiff and not soft and snuggly. Stay at The Westin Philadelphia and see for yourself that it is totally worth booking.

The room was sizable. Comfortable bed. The water in the shower was either scalding or freezing. And when I requested another robe, it never came. Still, a very good location! I would recommend for a quick weekend. We didn’t eat in the restaurant (24 for an omelette) but I did like the gym. Great for a hotel.
