We booked this hotel for a weekend getaway for me and my best friend. The location was just perfect, everything was in walking distance and the food was amazing. The bar at the hotel was very put together and the waiter was very attentive. The hotel staff was extremely over-the-top great customer service. Savannah made our stay 100% excellent after we had a toilet issue, she immediately put us into another room with no hesitation along with a credit on the room. We loved our stay here and i will stay here over and over and over again.

Me and my partner were checked in by Savannah who, was great. Check in was short, simple, and sweet just the way I like it. After checking in she even texted us to make sure the room was to our liking. I appreciate hotels trying thier best to accomodate us and protect us during the pandemic. The Palomar has found a perfect mix, they have found a way to keep guest safe without sacrificing those small ammenities that truly make a difference. The location is also amzing s many bars, cafes, and shops near by. I will definety be back!

I did not like my stay. I arrived and requested a room with a shower but they informed me all the rooms with showers are dirty at the time. They mentioned a room I can be provided to accommodate the rooms being dirty. This was great until I realized I was charge an additional $200. They mentioned an update that I did not agree. I was informed the room that I was placed in was to accommodate duet to the other rooms being dirty.

We were two people staying in room 1008 on October 7, 2020. Reception personnel were cordial and efficient in getting us checked into our room at around 9 pm. The room was standard and adequate for 2. We were unpacked and settled in when my wife noticed a sizable urine stain on the couch that was about 5 feet from the bed. There was no discernible odor, so we were hoping it wasn’t fresh. We were too tired to pack everything up and move to another room, so we were careful to avoid the couch. We sent an e-mail to management and have not had a reply as of 10 9 20. Bottom line; avoid room 1008 if you stay at this property and hope there aren’t other pee stained couches or worse awaiting your arrival. Disgusting.

In short, don’t book here if you’re a POC. The room I was given (1011) is a tiny, odd corner room that is absolutely nothing like the room pictures on the website. It’s ugly with standard 3-star hotel furnishings and decor. Being a frequent traveler, you can tell when the hotel is pushing an undesirable room on you, maybe because that’s what a clerk feels like you’re used to or deserve. I had a choice of several 4-star hotels in the area. This really isn’t a 4 or 4.5 star hotel IMO and I’m so disappointed. Would avoid.
