We were visiting family that lived in area near downtown. This hotel had a very convenient location near the train station and subways. The lobby was small and was not an area conducive to hanging out. We were fine with that. Our room was large and location was quiet. It was adequately clean and had coffee maker and fridge. We requested a microwave and it was delivered to our room within the hour. Beds and pillows were just ok. Breakfast was grab and go and rooms were only cleaned upon request. Management sent daily texts asking if we needed anything which I appreciated. For the money spent we were very satisfied with this hotel. There was a great breakfast spot near hotel called The Green Egg that had nice outdoor seating and very good menu. The possibilities were endless and would suit everyone’s tastes. Area seemed safe and was within walking distance of many points of interest and bars and restaurants. I would return.

Check in was timely manner, but not that friendly. Got in the room to find out the shower was broken. We were on the road all day and just could not wait to wash up. The receptionist told us that it was a sold out weekend and no other room to move us. They sent a tech to replace the shower head. It worked ok but still leaking. The room was very small. The big group across our room was partying, yelling and screaming into late late almost midnight. Sadly, non of the management would take charge to keep that down. We really like Sonesta in Hilton Heads, SC, and expected this hotel would stand up to their high standard, but this location, the Sonesta rotten house square was really a big disappointment. We will not be back and will stay with the Hilton or Westin next time in Philly.

We stay in Center City Philadelphia frequently as our daughter is a student in the city. I really liked the location of this hotel. It is in Rittenhouse Square, but you enter on Market and don't have to navigate and deal with all of the traffic in the heart of the area. It was so easy to get in and out of the hotel when driving somewhere, but there was also plenty to walk to if you didn't feel like driving anywhere. The valet service was pretty efficient. The rooms were a good size and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful

Nice hotel in the heart of downtown, walkable, so much in a little space. I arrived and check in with Marcus was smooth but their pamphlets or hand-outs on restaurants and local amenities is out dated. I was in room 2006 overlooking the pool and an office building, nothing special. Not too close to the elevator but not too far either. The walls are pretty thin as I could hear a very loud, boisterous woman next door all weekend. My room was pretty big, the king bed massive for just lil ol me. The couch was a pull out and comfortable enough but the chair in the room was useless, too low and this ugly cow hide. I was there Friday-Monday morning, specifically to see baseball, the park isn't too far, neither is the airport but Rideshare isn't cheap! I couldn't even get a Lyft yesterday from the park back to the hotel, had to hail a cab. No airport shuttle, Ruth Chris (go somewhere else) is in the lobby and the Art Bar (limited w/COVID) but I would recommend and I'd def stay here again. There are a multitude of restaurants in the surrounding blocks as well as two CVS and a small Target.

Room Tip: I'd say rent a car but parking is $50 a night here, but there are other garages around.
