I’m a 50 + traveler that decided to stay for a night while traveling through New England with my wife and young grandson. Using a report card like grading system, I’ve rated my experiences A-F below: A1. Location: A few blocks away from the Liberty Bell and US Mint and Faneuil Hall for great eats, all in walking distance. A2. Food and Drink: Hotel bar and restaurant were convenient and served top shelf drinks and tasty food options for dinner. A3. Free Breakfast Buffet: Delicious made to order eggs or omelets, pancakes or waffles. Quality bacon and sausage, as well as fresh fruits, breads, pastries, cereals, yogurts, breads and oatmeal. Juices, milk and coffee/tea were served as well. A very enjoyable breakfast. B1. Snacks: Late afternoon cookies were offered for a short period of time in the lobby. B2. Room: We reserved a 2 queen beds jr suite with sofa bed. It was tight space-wise but the 2 queen beds and hide a bed couch weren’t uncomfortable to sleep on. No view to speak of. Room had a 45 inch flat panel TV with HBO, mini fridge, coffee maker and alarm clock. Room had 4 drawer dresser, desk and free wifi. Bathroom with shower tub, one sink, toilet and assortment of linen and toiletries. Extra blanket and pillow in closet. Iron, ironing board and hairdryer were also provided. C1. Business center: Adequate, got what we needed in printing out some literature, but of the 2 computers, only 1 worked and no USB ports for flash drives. C2. Pool: Small indoor pool available. D1. Check-in process: Not impressive. Room was not ready on arrival at 3pm as advertised and Diamond membership wasn’t acknowledged. They took my number and said they would call when ready, but they never did. They did store our luggage while we waited. Some staff were friendly, other not so much. D2. Parking: $37 in a nearby parking garage. They could have validated a portion for what we paid for the room, over $350 a night. ***In Summary, a great location despite some disappointments. Will consider staying again.

Stayed here on a short family trip to Philly. Hotel looks brand new. Everything is clean and in great shape. Rooms are very comfortable. Staff was always extremely nice and helpful. Parking is in attached garage. Best part is location. This hotel is within walking distance of pretty much everything you might want to see downtown. I would absolutely stay here again.

I would not recommend this HGI, the staff there are not able to cope with the busy load. You will get rush off during the checking at the front desk and they wont have time to explain to you and expect you to figure it out yourself. Really? About the parking...Your app clearly show how to obtain a parking pass at the front desk for complimentary parking. See attached pic. Ends up you have to pay for it. And trust me, it is not cheap. $34 a day. Come on. And they will try to sell you local tour instead. Not recommended. The housekeeper are over work too. I can hear them complaining on the hallway that they work long hours. But I praise their hardworking and still great the guest with a smile when they see the guest walk past them.

We reserved this hotel for lodging and banquet facility to host our 2019 Family Reunion. I was pleasantly surprised at the setup and quality of food. We chose the Betsy Ross package which included a taste of Philly. The staff was very attentive and the location was perfect. I would definitely book this location again. Thanks Hilton Garden Inn, you truly ROCK!!!! Mickens Family
