The room was dirty, had to buy slippers to walk around my room was left unswept, another customer was complaining about bed bugs, my room phone didn't properly work, my refrigerator made a noise all night, the garbage disposal stunk, the couch had visible stains, the balcony/bedroom did not have a screen, the closet in bedroom was off the hinge, the curtain in the room was missing a piece the curtain kept falling off to the sides, the kitchen/ stove was not clean, we asked for towels to sit on the couch, the TVs in the room only worked first day and a half, the valet told us first day we could not access our car and would need someone to walk us to our vehicle, valet took over 30 mins to get our vehicle my husband has m.s., standing walking moving is already enough, the valet service employees spoke broken English, you also have customers that live in this building they were actively complaining about bed bugs as well, there were cigarette butts in the elevators and seemed like there was someone on my level also having a party***, the table had a burn hole on it, we requested extra towels and towels were delivered 3 separate times 10 mins apart..., lastly the bellmen person said there were no carts and I need to wait 25 mins I asked the front desk and they had a whole closet full/ many of your customers seemed to be off putting about staying at the Windsor Suites..

Hotel's Favorite
12/21/2020. My wife and I live in Cape May, NJ. Our daughter and granddaughters live in Camp Hill, PA. We decided to meet halfway and booked a nice suite for 12/13/2020, at The Windsor Suites in Philadelphia to meet for a couple of hours and exchange Christmas gifts. Fully masked, of course. My wife and I spent the night, but "the girls' went home. We enjoyed our stay and loved our suite. Our balcony had a terrific view of the Art Museum and City Hall, including the Love Park Christmas Village, which we visited and also enjoyed. But the nicest part of our stay at The Windsor, by far, was your staff. I am 70 years old and have stayed at dozens of hotels and have never met a friendlier staff. I am sorry that the only 2 names I remember are Stephanie and Jameer. I spoke to Jameer only on the phone and he was very helpful. But the two women who checked us in were over-the-top friendly and helpful. We had asked for an early check-in and our suite was ready when we arrived at about 11 AM. Every time we passed through the lobby, we received a friendly greeting and an offer to help. The lobby staff was also great with our 2 granddaughters, ages 11 and 8. We would stay at The Windsor again, even if only for the treatment we received from the lobby staff. GREAT JOB!! Due to the fact that Covid restrictions kept us from dining inside at Con Murphy's restaurant, we ordered take-out from them. The food was ready on time, was hot, and was delicious. We look forward to dining there sometime in the future.

This is the kind of hotel where people in sweatpants and slippers smoke right outside the front door and put their cigarettes out in the potted plants. Dope smell in the hallways and rooms, and even elevators. In this pandemic, where is the effort by management?

The Windsor was great! Excellent hospitality - especially from Greg who helped with our luggage and was very accommodating. They were very friendly and allowed us to store our luggage all day after checking out. Great location too!

We stayed here for 3nts due to visiting a child at CHOP. This hotel is listed on their website as preferred. I can't imagine why!!! The entrance to the lobby smelled of weed every time we went in and out. Additionally so did our floor. Needless to say the arguing guests down the hall from 10pm to 3 am with no consequence. The elevators are dirty. The staff at check in was apathetic to arrival and had to do my transaction twice since she wasnt' paying attention to the process, in addition they DON'T tell you ahead of time they are charging one night stay PLUS a 250 deposit-- no problem but tell your guest before so they can use proper payment. This hotel is used for parties and it shows. We didn't expect to have these situations arise as we didn't come to party but to visit a sick child and I don't need to be up all night with smell of weed and people bickering and slamming doors. The construction of the doors is so floppy that even shutting it and holding them causes a rumble since they are heavy and old. In addition the water in the shower was SCALDING and the tub is very slippery. Also there is no heat!! The temperature in the room was 55 when we got there and never went over 67. They have a sign at the thermostat that there is no heat ask for blankets--- I've never seen anything like this crazy place. The positive thing is the location you can walk the central area easily. Like others said, we must have got the short end of the stick because I didn't experience a wonderful stay.
