Location is slightly away from the main attractions but quite walkable. Staff were very polite and helpful. Allowed us to check in before time saving us an hours wait doing nothing. Breakfast is good, the usual - eggs, bacon, cereal, yogurt, juice, waffles and hot beverages. Was happy to see hot chocolate since I don't drink tea or coffee. Staff was diligent in replacing empty containers.

We stayed on May 29, 2019. The location is near of the Terminal Market. You will find this market a lot of restaurants with a lot of alternatives to eat. Not near of the historic sites, you will need to walk more or less twenty minutes. Walking distance of chinatown of 20 minutes. The attention of Sharon is great. She explains to us a lot of directions and alternatives to eat. The room was spacious, wireless and tv with channels.

Fairly new hotel carved out of 2 former office buildings on a 1-way street next to a lowered interstate. Close to Convention Center. The parking garage is 2 blocks away so either walk it or they call for the off-site valet and he walks over about 10-15 minutes later. They ask for 20 minute warning to get your car. Nice décor in lobby. Rooms are a bit quirky as all different shapes and sizes; ours had the bed just inside the door with the bed facing the door. Breakfast was decent but 1 waffle maker and 4-5 minute time to make a waffle equals 15 minute wait if 3rd in line and heaven forbit a family with small kids needing to make multiple waffles. There was also this smell we could not place after they cleaned the elevator so we thought somebody must have gotten sick until we noticed the same in all 3 elevators. Still, the staff was really friendly and polite and it had a decent room if you overlook the mold and other people's hair in the shower.

This hotel seems recently renovated, with the common area and bathrooms looking particularly sharp. All of the staff were courteous and accommodating. The breakfast had a pretty good selection of items, including 3-4 types of fresh fruit every day, and there was always plenty of room to sit. My room in the back of the hotel was nice and quiet, although I can imagine that rooms facing the front might be louder due to traffic noise. The location near the convention center and Reading Terminal Market was convenient. The block is a bit scruffy around the edges but I didn't have any issues. The bed seemed hard to me, and it's about time to rotate in new sheets. And you have to log in to the internet a lot with a 6-digit number, although it's reasonably fast once you do.

Overall the stay was not bad. Aside from our first interaction upon arriving at the hotel. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. My room was quite large and impressive, though there was some signs of wear and tear (small stains on the curtains, holes/patches on the bathroom walls etc.). The one big thing I would say is that the neighborhood is definitely still gentrifying, and at time felt a bit rough around the edges.
