We had a last minute getaway and came into the Marriott Old City and Shelly greeted us and made us feel welcome. As we talked about what we were looking to do. Shelly gave us great recommendations. We will definitely be back.

This was our first time staying at OC Marriott and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The room, amenities, food/drink, and above all else, the staff, were second to none. Shelley at the front desk has single-handily scored the Marriott a return stay from us by her amazing service. She paid attention to all the details and truly humanized the experience. It was refreshing because caring, honest service is becoming a lost art form in many industries, but the Marriott has nothing to worry about due to their incredible staff.

Had and amazing wedding weekend staying at this hotel! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating to out large group (50 rooms). The suites were perfect for wedding party pre and and post get together. Special shout out to Shelly at the front desk. She is amazing at her job. so organized and patient with our large group’s many requests… Thanks to the entire staff for making the weekend perfect for our family!

We were back and forth between Philadelphia and New York because of a death in the family. The hotel, and especially Patrick, could not have been more accommodating. Any issue at all that we had (minor ones), Patrick took care of instantly. He took all the stress of not being at home while we attended this funeral away. We never had to ask for anything twice. We very much appreciate how we were accommodated during this difficult time and hope to be back for more celebratory occasions. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Exceptional hotel and phenomenal front desk service. Shaneese and Shelly, welcomed us to the hotel like we were visiting family. They did everything to make our Christmas Eve stay extra, extra special. The rooms were quite comfortable and everything was five star. Kudos to Mr. Costa for selecting such a phenomenal staff and keeping the hotel in exceptional condition.

Rented several rooms on a Thursday night for my daughter’s 21st birthday dinner. Hotel is in excellent condition, and in a perfect location to tour the city. Rates are reasonable for the city. Tara, the reservation manager, provided excellent service to ensure that our stay was the best. Laura at the front desk also provided wonderful insight as to our visit in old city. I would recommend staying at the Old City Marriott for your next visit to Philadelphia.

We've stayed at this property many times during last few years. Location and rooms are perfect for our needs. What keeps us coming back though is the great staff, especially Shelly at the front desk. She is hands down one of the best at making check in actually an enjoyable experience! She has gone out of her way to help us out when we've had issues and provides that extra personal touch that isn't very common anymore. The housekeeping staff is great as well! We will continue to to come back to this property!

Great customer service. Khalif Carral was very professional and accommodated us perfectly. He answered our questions and took care of our reservation. There was a wedding party in the hotel this weekend. Once we got to the room we called downstairs because other guests were being very noisy. He immediately sent someone up.

I had previously stated this hotel years ago when it was a Sheraton, due to its great location. Since then the hotel was closed and renovated and is now a Marriott. The property was highly upgraded and is outstanding. As a Bonvoy platinum member, I was recognized upon check-in and given full access to the M club. The breakfast served in the M club was very good with many choices. Hotel bar is lively and the bartender has worked there many years and was great. The rooms are large and everything is brand new. My one negative is the only parking option was valet and it is $55.
