I am a little late with my review, I stayed at this hotel in October 2014, great location for exploring Philly, loved the hotel & staff. Rooms were very clean and the bed was so comfy slept like a baby after sightseeing all day. I happily recommend this hotel.

Our room was dirty, toilet paper roll broken and off wall. Dirt was not even swept or vaccumed out. We changed rooms; and another woman on this trip said her room even had drinks in it. Breakfast for 3 days was terrible. Bad scrambled eggs with bacon one day, and sausage the next, all fried in heavy grease, and the...

The staff was great and the hotel was clean but it was old and needs updating. The coffee makers could be updated to Keurig, for example. Housekeeping was inconsistent with replenishing the coffee supplies.

Dear Trip Advisor Guest, Thank you for your comments. I'm sorry that your were not happy with the results of our recent renovation. Most people love the new feel and decor. Your coffee should be replenished each day so I will be sure to address that issue with the housekeeping staff. Thank you again. Regards,

The Wyndham in Historic Philadelphia was an excellent place to stay. We had easy access to the convention center, just an 8 block walk. Many restaurants and local sites to see all around. The staff was amazing. Always very happy to greet us and help in any way. Our room was very comfortable.

My whole stay was wonderful. This hotel is centrally located to Food and shopping. Although not crazy about all the one way streets you get used to it.

This hotel is well placed for the sites of historic interest. Check in expeditious, room (8th floor) quiet except for noises air conditioning which defied control. Clean with a small bathroom and comfortable beds. Breakfast perfectly satisfactory with reasonable choice. Staff not as helpful as they should be or could be. Overall a well located overnight stop.
