Loved the hotel as soon as we checked in for our 3 night stay. We had a 2 Queen Deluxe room -which included a table and two chairs, and a coffee table with 2 chairs, and tons of room! Four large windows. 2 large mirrors in the room-which made it nice to be able to check your outfit before going out. The bathroom was a good size too. There are outlets, lights, and charging stations by each bed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast at the XIX Restaurant. The hotel is located near many attractions that are within walking distance. A big plus also is you can park right next door in the garage. There isn’t a “spa experience”, but there are two spa rooms near the pool. The message was very good. I definitely recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Philadelphia.

Hotel's Favorite
From the moment you enter the lobby, you know you’re somewhere special. The architecture and decor are stunning and the service is impeccable. While ornate details adorn the lobby, restaurant and public areas; the guest rooms are simple and classic. The hotel is located within walking distance from theaters and Reading Terminal is a pleasant walk away on a nice day. I look forward to returning.

The Bellevue has a beautiful lobby and is in a central, fun, location. The rooms are dated but clean and in good working condition, with lots of outlets and USB plug ins. Staff is very helpful. Street noise is extreme during the night.

Worn carpet and stained sheets required switching rooms twice. After yet another room had a field air conditioner, I settled for the fourth room I tried… Even though there were leftover pistachio kernels on the carpet and dust accumulation on the mirrors! The staff were less than helpful and in no way apologetic for the condition of their rooms. also, there is no security to access any of the floors from street level, so if you are a single woman traveling alone, avoid this hotel because there is unrestricted access from the Broad Street entrance. Overall, Hyatt usually delivers a better quality hotel than the Bellevue.

The people are very nice but the rooms and hallways are generally old and tired with the exception of the beds. The carpet, walls, etc all look worn. There are no power outlets near the bed — so charging is inconvenient. The elevators were slow and they had to repair them during the stay — slowing things down
