There were cockroaches in the hallways and in our suite. There no hand sanitizers at the elevator on floor five. There were cockroaches coming out of assembly on five near the elevators. The service for breakfast was wonderful as was the food. However, it seems the bar was too busy to promptly get our beverages and we had to go up to the bar to get them. I had to vacuum my bedroom floor with my own vacuum that I happened to have in the back of my car because it was serviced and I picked it up before I left. I’m grateful I had it but the rooms were dirty. Due to the events of that weekend my choice of hotels were limited because I would have left the moment I got there . I would not recommend this. I have a respiratory infection and I believe it’s due to the room because all three of us got it. …

Hotel's Favorite
I stayed here in late May as part of a guided tour. The hotel is absolutely wonderful and right downtown. My room, facing away from Broad St., was very quiet and comfortable. The included breakfasts were delicious. I also dined several times at the in-house restaurant, and the mixed greens salad with grilled salmon was excellent each time. The hotel lobby is beautiful, rather an artistic work of art! This is a terrific hotel.

We traveled to Philadelphia for a concert and were looking for a hotel with easy transportation. The hotel was located very close to the SEPTA line so getting back and forth was easy. The parking garage was conveniently located next to the hotel. Since we were traveling in from out of state we requested early check-in if possible and they graciously accommodated our request. The room was clean, and the beds and pillows were SO comfortable. The only negative about it was that the body wash in the shower was empty. However there was bar soap available so it was a small thing. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of City Hall, Washington Square, the Liberty Bell, and Independence Hall. The Philadelphia Museum of Art is only about a two mile walk as well. We didn't have time or we would have walked down to see the iconic Rocky statue. We had breakfast and it was what I would consider typical breakfast buffet fare. I would not hesitate to stay here again should we travel to Philly in the future.…

Hotel location is great - walking distance to Macy's and all the shopping opportunities on Market Street with easy access to buses/subway. Lots of food variety nearby with good options for vegetarians and vegans. If you want a tasty Philly Cheesesteak - try Cleavers. Check in was quick and the Walnut cookie, as always, was lovely. Sander on reception is a gem and was super helpful whenever we spoke. Such an asset to the hotel! Wonderful views of Broad St if allocated a room at the front of the hotel, however traffic is audible even from the 21st floor! Rooms could benefit from being updated but still had a fab stay and would stay again.

I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. It was a great experience from start to finish. Check in was so friendly and the warm cookies were a nice surprise. My room was on a high floor with a beautiful view. It was comfortable and very clean. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful - including the store and room service. Every time I entered the lobby I was greeted warmly by Amy and it was a pleasure to get such personal attention. A bonus was the train station entrance across the street which made getting to the Eagles game a breeze on night 3z I would def stay here again.

BED BUGS! As a Diamond Hilton member, I was upgraded to Suite 5 Room 682. The room was lovely, but I was eaten alive. Once I realized what happened, I called the hotel and requested to speak to a manager. No call back after two calls into her. My third call was the next day where I spoke to a different manager. He quickly rushed me off the phone and refunded my stay. Thanks for doing the bare minimum. I need to see a doctor as the bites are extremely painful and all over my hands and arms. Very disappointed in how Hilton handled this!

2nd stay here—it had been a while, but good service both times. Can’t beat the central location on Broad St, across from the Academy of Music and the Wilma. Booked a room over the phone when my kid’s event at PCC ran long, and I got tired of trying to find street parking (spoiler alert, it doesn’t exist) Very friendly and accommodating phone staff helped me book a room, and wonderful check in process: I was able to book an early check in for a minimal fee, park the car, and chill in the glass lobby while I waited for the room. Room itself was comfortable and well appointed without being overdone. High floor with a southeast facing view. Only nit to pick was the 80s era toilet that wastes a lot of water; room was otherwise up to date.

I attended the Blackstar Film Festival (August 2-6th- stayed at the Hilton DoubleTree due to its proximity to the theaters associated with the film program. This was an excellent choice. The hotel staff was very helpful, open and always available if I had a question. I was placed on the 26th floor- great view. The room was very clean and met my off-hour needs- writing, studying, etc. The hotel had several food options and a very convenient small market. Pool on the 5th floor was adequate and clean. Gym was not used but seem fine for a quick workout. The surrounding area had tons of food options and felt safe - day and night.
