My husband and I just stayed here this past weekend for a last minute weekend getaway. The hotel was very nice and in a great location. It is right across the street from the Reading Terminal Market when you exit on Filbert St. It is in walking distance to old city and other fun neighborhoods. Room was clean and had... More

Stayed here for a conference. For $100/night it would have been a deal. At almost three times that I wanted something special but didn't get it. The view looked over a roof. The bed was poor, the doors are all poorly adjusted so they slam shut all night long, the towels are pretty threadbare, and there is some kind of... More

We checked in on Friday June 21 for a two night stay. We were upgraded to a Hospitality Suite. Do not, repeat, do not accept. Very large room intended for business meetings/cocktail parties. Murphy bed, 12 inches off the floor with probably the hardest mattress I have ever been on..After pulling myself back up, we changed to a standard room.... More

Everyone at the Marriott was great to our Big League Tours luxury baseball tour guests. Beautiful hotel in a great location. Jessica Brunner, our event coordinator, had every detail attended to. We will definitely be bringing Big League Tours back to the Marriott.

Visited the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown for a conference. The property is perfectly located but is in tired shape. The rooms are relatively slow and the service is poor. Most of the customer service representatives we ran into were either indifferent or worse Tiffany, a front desk CSR was the worst of these. She was just plain nasty. The property is... More

From the divine flavored water available at check-in, to the wonderful staff at the front desk, the efficient concierge and the super-comfy bed, this is THE place to stay in Philly. We spent last night to take in the Phillies game. It is a quick train ride on the Express to the ballpark. Check out was effortless and the valet... More

Very nice hotel & the location can't be beat. We easily walked around the downtown area to find a variety of restaurants & walked to the historic attractions like the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, etc. Our room was roomy and clean - we would recommend this hotel if you want to be downtown.

The more I go to these big convention hotels, the more I dislike them. While they are capable of housing large numbers, the treatment of the individual is left wanting. First, to even charge for Wi-Fi is outrageous. Oh, they give it free in the lobby but it has the speed of dial up. The paper was delivered the first... More

Stayed here for one night for a business meeting in the hotel and the location is good. View from the hotel room was nothing to write home about, bed was ok. Just a completely middle of the road experience. To get a later check out I had to pay for a part day. When I go back, I will choose... More

We are checking out tomorrow and can’t wait to leave. We stayed here June 18-22 because it was the conference hotel for a national meeting. The room was too small for two adults; not enough towels in the room, the housekeeping staff on the 14th floor was unfriendly and unprofessional; and, charges for extras are exorbitant (e.g., parking $48 per...
