The Anchorage Inn Bed and Breakfast is a COVID 19 inspected Victorian Inn. We are at level 3 and meet all requirements of sterilization and cleaning of rooms and dining areas. Masks are required and spacing is observed. We are located on beautiful Whidbey Island, in Puget Sound, Washington. Our 5 star, award winning B&B can be found in the historic town of Coupeville, overlooking picturesque Penn Cove. Coupeville was home to many of the Northwest's sea captains during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Many historic homes still grace the streets of this Central Whidbey town. The majority of the seven lavishly appointed rooms provide splendid views of Penn Cove. These rooms differ only by size, K or Q bed and whether it has a view of the blue waters of Penn Cove, Mt. Baker or the historic buildings of old town. All rooms have private baths, cable TV, DVD and WiFi and of course a full sit down breakfast.

The rooms are great. My wife and I have stayed at this great little B&B for years. Problem is, that the breakfast has never changed. Same thing on the same days for years. Change is needed! Don't get me wrong, it's a nice little place and the breakfast is okay but change is needed!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Anchorage Inn, in mid-October. The B&B is lovely, and the hosts are friendly. The room we stayed in (Fairhaven) was cozy, and had a great view of the water. The breakfasts were also very good (we stayed for two nights); one was an eggs/cheese/mushroom dish, the other was banana bread pancakes. The inn is a short walk up the hill from the little waterside shopping area of Coupeville, and is a short drive from Fort Casey and the Coupeville ferry to Pt. Townsend. About the only negative was that the Wi-Fi was pretty slow, but then so was the general cellular coverage in the area. Definitely would like to visit again.

We stayed 2 nights in the discovery room and it was so nice! It was a short walk to the waterfront and all the shops and restaurants. The bedroom exceeded our expectations in comfort especially the king sized bed and super soft linens. The breakfast was delicious both days. We will definitely be back!

No matter the season, type of weather, time of day or night, even when covered with fog or forest smoke, the views, sunsets or sunrises are a sight that never grows old from this spot in Coupeville. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and we could give you the rest and relaxation you were looking for. Return to enjoy parades pass in front of the inn or just to watch that same street disappear under snowfall. The keepers of your inn, Dave and Dianne.

We cannot say enough about the Anchorage Inn. The photos online don't do it justice...the incredible views, the beautiful rooms and the impeccable hospitality was wonderful. We felt it was a great value and we truly appreciated that every need was met in our room. Every design detail was intentional and the room was so clean and fresh. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you David & Dianne!

Thank you for such kind words. Although at odds with the Corona Virus, it just makes inn keeping a bit more challenging. We still get to meet charming people and answer all their questions about touring Whidbey Island. Hope to see you again with out the need for a mask. D&D's B&B for R&R
