This is an odd listing. The house, which has a For Sale sign outside, looks like is no longer capable to accommodate anyone so guests are diverted to the back, where the owners have a small cabin and a "patio" extension. In my frequent get aways to Coupeville I have seen that Thai restaurant always closed but I was told... More

Two stars, maybe three. Depending on your expectations, the Inn at Penn Cove may be suitable. Or it may not. It is not an inn; it is not a B&B; the management is not on site and there is no breakfast. You get a room and that's all. My room was the “Patio Room”. It is basically an enclosed patio... More

I had to clean the whole room in the patio room. There is a terrible smell in this room. I was expecting a quaint bed and breakfast and it's basically a room in the back of the larger house. Wasted my money and time trying to have a little night away. I had to buy a candle to be able... More

Don't stay here! Picture of B&B (not even a B&B, there's no breakfast) is mis-leading. The picture is of the Thai restaurant, 'rooms' are in the back. Jacob's Room where I stayed is actually a converted shed built on back of the main building. Windows open up to rusted out junk outside, inside was just as bad. Bathroom is a... More

We stayed in the Wisteria Cottage which is a historic building that needs to either be torn down or fixed up! The windows hardly function to open and close. The front door knob shifts in the door as you turn it. The kitchen is loaded with more extension cords than functioning appliances. All of the sheets and towels are dark... More

The owners were very nice from the very beginning. Our room was clean , the bed was comfortable, the tub cute, but shower undesirable. The issue is that the screen door leading into the Inn was torn and clearly in need of repair. How can you invite people to enjoy your Inn and the very first thing they are greeted... More

The owners were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the bed comfortable but the stained carpet, low quality good-will furniture and windows opening on the interior of a garden shed made this room not a good value for $.

Don't be fooled by the photos of the lovely Victorian home. Most of the building is now a restaurant, and the remaining "hotel" rooms are mostly neglected adjacent buildings. I stayed in the "Patio Room", which appears to be a converted garage, furnished with an assortment of mismatched thrift store furniture. The room is tiny, webby, and the carpet is... More

A girlfriend and I spent the night here for a quick getaway from the kids. This is not a typical bed and breakfast, but it met our needs. The downstairs of this quaint old house is a Thai Restaurant. The bedrooms are upstairs or in a separate "cottage" outside. The owner met us on site to check us in, but... More

We booked the "cottage" with the inn. Features included an overgrown weed-ridden "yard", rotting steps outside the door ("Oh, we don't use that door"), no soap at either sink, pubic hair on the toilet, trash behind the bathroom door, unmade bed, and deep layers of dust on unadorned shelves, tables, lampshades (some, but not all, of which had working light...
