I passed through with my family and made a reservation for 1 night so we could see Devil's tower on our way home from Yellowstone. Picked this location for convenience, but I had no clue just how awesome the views would be! We had 2 RV sites and 2 tents. We were able to have them next to each other,... More

No way about it, the location of this KOA cannot be beat. It is right at the base of the park entrance and they even show the Close Encounters movie every night right in front of the monument which is a nice touch. Unfortunately the employees were not friendly- and even rude in some cases.... so much so that it... More

We rented a cabin for the night right on the river. It was nice and peaceful even though a youth group was camping right across from us. Views of the tower were great and we had deer run right through the middle of the campground as well as right behind our cabin. Cabins were well maintained and landscaped. We had... More

Honestly not too fond of the KOA sites however, the location of this site cannot be beat! We camped here for an evening and it was definitely a top highlight of our trip. Devils Tower Is literally right there! The entrance to the park is right at the end of the campsite entrance lot. Can't get any closer. We will... More

We had to stay at the Devil's Tower KOA for nothing more than to watch Close Encounters of the Third Kind on an outside screen with Devil's tower in the background. They show this movie every night, weather permitting. The campground itself was better than expected with full hookups and even a little grass and good views of the tower... More

Pretty basic as far as grounds go. Nothing fancy. Has small pool and huge gift shop. No worries as we were there to hike. Fit our 35 ft motorhome fine on pull through site. View of devils tower was spectacular along with surrounding red rocks. Best part is proximity to entrance to tower park. We hiked in from campground and... More

This KOA site is right outside Devil's Tower. Any closer and you would be in the park itself. We stayed in a camper cabin. It has electricity but no bathroom. And you have to bring your own sheets and blankets. Cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view of Devil's Tower can't be beat. They show Close Encounters... More

This was a fantastic stay. Literally at the entrance to the park. Tent site had a beautiful view of the Tower. Showers were hot, laundry worked great, and service was friendly. Couldn't believe how close we were to Devil's Tower. Plenty of shade trees and green grass and picnic tables. On site restaurant was pretty good and servers were pleasant.... More

We stayed here during the 75th anniverary of Sturgis, which wasn't super smart, but it wasn't on our radar. THat said, most of the bikers around us were well behaved and quiet. Camp spot was really open, not much privacy, but a great view of Devil's Tower all afternoon and evening. They show "Close Encounters of the Third Time" every... More

When we drove by this KOA I almost passed out by how amazing the location is. It is literally in the shadow of Devils Tower!!! I wanted to cancel the reservations at another KOA after seeing it. Beyond unique! I can't speak to anything about the amenities because again, we didn't stay here but the location is to die for!!!
