Sawin' Logs Inn is the fulfillment of a dream started by owners Roy and Twila Pilcher nearly 27 years ago. Their beautiful 2 story home, located on 27 acres, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning on the nearly 3000 square foot deck or unwind after a long day in the large, homey common area. Located just 4 miles from Devils Tower National Monument and nestled on the edge of the Black Hills, the down-home atmosphere and warm Wyoming hospitality will entice weary travelers to come and stay awhile.
This was a great place to stay for the night. My husband and I are early risers, so we left pretty early. There are great touches to welcome guests- tea, coffee, popcorn, books, board games, and the wonderful view! We will be back when in the area again!

Best ever Inn we had ever stayed with, the owner Twila is a very gracious and very helpful host, she went out of her way to make sure we had a ADA room. Just 4 miles South of Devils Tower the Inn is like a little remote area just off the main road, you can really relax and have the best sleep ever very quiet at night and if you have clear skies you can see countless numbers of stars. The Inn does offer Coffee & Tea along with free water and at night a few snacks are available Popcorn and games to play, along with a mircrowave to reheat and foods you have brought with you. We would really stay here again and highly recommand Sawin Logs to have a almost secluded best area away from all the crowds and hype of everyday life. If your going to Devils Tower we recommand booking almost a year out with only three room thay go fast. We want to Thank Twila for the ADA room, Twila made this happen for us. Take Care & Happy Traveling: John & Jackie/Homosassa, Florida…

Located only a very short distance from Devil's Tower, this inn provides a welcome respite for all travelers. If you like very peaceful accommodations in a beautiful setting, then Sawin Logs will not disappoint you. The hosts Roy and Twila are very friendly and welcoming. An added bonus is the Devil's Tower Gulch Restaurant a very short distance away. If we ever happen to be in the area again, Sawin Logs will be first on our list for a place to stay.

While this type of property might be someone’s ideal stay . Just not ours . Overpriced for a suite in someone’s home . No amenities in room . No comfortable furniture , only hard chairs and a wooden bench . I must have missed something when I booked as I had NO idea it was a private residence. No breakfast offered not even a juice box or a granola bar . They had microwave popcorn and coffee , tea. No ice available in common area freezer.

I am so sorry your stay was unsatisfactory. I've tried to make it clear, on all of the websites where I am advertised, that I am not a hotel and I do not serve breakfast. This type of establishment is not suited to everyone, but I do try to provide a restful place for travelers to stay.

Twila has created a restful oasis here at Sawin’ Logs. The inn s very close to Devil’s Tower and was a relaxing end to our busy day. The views are fabulous and amenities are perfect. I loved being able to get up to a great cup of coffee to start my morning. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone.

Stayed here to be close to Devil’s Tower. It was the perfect spot. Comfortable bed, pleasant living and dining area, very quiet and peaceful. Really enjoyed the large covered deck. Owner Twila was delightful and so hospitable. Feel like I have a new friend. The breakfast was fabulous but I understand she will no longer be serving breakfast. Nearest town is about 10 miles away. I would definitely stay again if I should be in the area again. Devil’s Tower is Awesome!!

Best place we stayed in trip to the Dakotas and Devils Tower. Homey and comfortable. Twila was quite friendly and very accommodating. Her breakfast was the best (although she has changed to an Inn rather than a B and B). Very highly recommend.

We stayed here on the last leg of our road trip. It was the best night sleep and best breakfast we had our whole trip. We went to Devils Tower that day and it was awesome! Grabbed a bite to eat and then came to the B&B. There were really dark clouds coming our way and Twyla was kind enough to let us put our vehicle in the garage because a nasty storm with hail was on its way. It didn't last that long, but we were glad to be safe and sound there. Twyla was very kind and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

My parents and I stayed at Sawin’ Logs BNB for a night while on our way back from YSNP as we wanted to see Devils Tower! Twila the host was so welcoming and her breakfast was the best! Their home is very close to Devils Tower which is the primary reason we chose it! Her home is lovely with so many charming details. We loved our stay at her home and our time at Devils Tower was excellent! Thanks!
