Make note in description of resort no elevators to 2nd floor. Rating of resort would have been much better if our problem would have been resolved or if had been aware of the elevator situation would have requested a ground floor room in original reservation.

Hotel's Favorite
Another great weekend at this newly renovated hotel perfectly situated in downtown Mammoth Lakes. There was free "welcome wine" and the redone lobby boasts a cozy and inviting central fireplace with coffee, tea, and plenty of outlets for laptops. Even better, there's a cool new bar tended by top-rated Sommelier Chip. He treated us to to an outstanding wine tasting experience! Every night, guests kept coming out of the woodwork to see what Chip would uncork and to get to know their fellow guests. Fun and relaxing party vibe! Meanwhile, the bedrooms are incredibly quiet and hotel employees were on hand to dig our cars out each day from under 1-3 feet of new powder during blizzard conditions. Easy walk to different restaurants, Footloose ski rentals, and Rite Aid. We love this place and will be returning!

Reading the reviews regarding the construction I was a little worried. They are nearing the end of their remodel and the construction did not interfere with our stay at all. The noise level was low and the paths were all clear. The Wi-Fi was excellent (another concern of reviewers) and there was ample parking. We booked a king size room in the chalet, the room was small, but the perfect size for us. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Next time I will definitely book one of their new cabins. They do have a table in the room but no chairs, so we brought chairs in from the deck outside. The staff was great and the food at the restaurant was good. I highly recommend this hotel.

Helpful front desk, good free coffee with milk options, comfy beds, clean rooms. My AC unit was particularly loud, but I feel like that happens frequently with hotels so I just always bring ear plugs. I had a nice cocktail at the bar and read my book by a giant indoor fireplace. I'd stay here again for sure!

Friendly staff. Inviting fireplace with games and very social seating. Very “lodgy” feel and appearance. Nice central location for most everything. We went for some off-road fun. They were able to accommodate all of our vehicles and trailers. It was a bit of a challenge due to the current construction going on but they made it work! Kassandra went so far as to advise us of the impending storm knowing that we were going in to the mountains with our UTVs.

I recently had an extremely frustrating experience at a hotel I booked through Hotwire. To begin with, the hotel's name was different from what I had booked, leading me to drive around in confusion. To make matters worse, the hotel's sign was unlit, making it nearly impossible to identify at night. When I called the front desk for clarification, the receptionist, though confirming the location was sarcastic and unprofessional. While she did mention informing the manager about the misleading sign, I'm pretty sure she was already aware. The hotel's services were equally disappointing. I had booked a two-night stay but left after just one night. There was no room service, no "do not disturb" sign, no elevator, and a malfunctioning air conditioner. Although there were two fans and a heater, I had to use the heater because of the cold room temperature. This establishment is more suited to a 1.5 or 2-star rating. Had I been charged accordingly, I might have been more understanding. However, given the price I paid, the experience was utterly unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel and will not be returning.

Many reviewers have commented on the nice experience of having coffee brewed and available in the lobby. True. However, it's only woke vegan options for creamer. Oak or almond nonsense. I bought milk at the Latin market down the street.

If you want an average place to stay at for a good price this is it. Room was in good condition and clean, but wifi did not work and construction started very early and was very loud. Room was good enough to simply arrive at the room to sleep for the night and then get out early to enjoy your day and repeat.
