We used this place as our base to visit Yosemite from. It's a 40 minute drive to the park entrance. The hotel is not your boutique, fancy smancy design exhibit, but it does the trick. Bed is comfortable, the place is clean and the breakfast, though high in its polystyrene and plastic wrapper kind of delivery, at least is included.... More

We arrived in the snow after a long drive. People were in the outdoor hot tub enjoying the heated water but no way was I taking my clothes off! Our room was warm which was lovely in the cold weather. The manager on reception was very friendly and helpful with recommendations re where to eat, the condition of the roads... More

Destination stop for the night, had a king room upstairs. Staff friendly. Older facility, lobby could use some fresh paint. The breakfast eating area in lobby, small, with limited choices for a quick breakfast: dry cereal container, toast/pastries, juice/coffee. The room was large, but dated, drapes did not close completely, so let in the early morning light. Sink area good... More

We needed a spot on a rainy night. The Rodeway Inn was just that--on the main road in to town & lakes. We pulled into the empty lot, made a joke as to why, and proceeded to find out first hand. The large room reminded me of those ski town rooms where 20-somethings flop--stained carpet, burn hole in the chair... More

If you're looking for something that won't blow your budget and is centrally located, then this is a great place to stay. We came for some spring snowboarding and were more than excited when we realized how close we were to the village, restaurants and lots of shops (read: we could walk to all of them). Since our plan was... More

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was adequate very large & spacious. Beds were OK. Bathroom was dated but handicap Aids & Equipment. Parking was outside not underground garage. We got dumped on. Heater works well. & free continental breakfast was a plus. You get what you pay for & we needed a bathtub so we ask if we could... More

Bottom Line Up Front: You’re better of sleeping in your car. This is a standard ultra-low budget hotel with uncomfortable mattresses, lukewarm hot tub, and filth-stained carpet. All to be expected for the price. The one star rating is because of the sanitary conditions of the bed I slept in, which would only be expected in a Monty Python movie... More

It's a room, a bathroom, a heater with no thermostat, an ok bed with hard pillows. It's a cheap place to stay when that is all you want. The breakfast is basic but there are decent choices of carbs. The people in the office really try hard to please. If something in the room is not right, let them know... More

We spent one night here, on our way to Death Valley. Without high expectations we were surprised by one of the largest hotel rooms we have entered. Pleasent and clean. The servixe for friendly, and we could imagine how people who come in the winter season can enjoy here a few days.

Rodeway Inn – a.k.a. EconoLodge. Consider an upstairs room, because the floors are quite creaky and if you have a downstairs room you can hear the upstairs people walking early in the morning. It's a bit rustic, and had barely enough hot water. It is an excellent value and we had a spacious room with a good heater.
